I've had several complaints about the Writer's Panel becoming over crowded with novels and the like, so I'd like to take a minute to set up some new guidlines for this subforum. Please take a minute to fully read and understand these guidlines for posting your work here.
The Writer's Panel is an advice and discussion subforum. This is the place to place such topics as:
arrow writing related resources
arrow specific writing techniques
arrow brainstorming ideas
arrow discussing specific writing related issues.
I know that many of you want critique on your work, but critique is offered in all of the subforums if you ask. In fact, that is one of the ideas behind this guild's creation.
That being said, you may post part of your stories here, provided you are asking a specific question about your writing. For example:
Allowed
"I'm writing a story but I'm having some trouble with my diologue. It just doesn't seem to flow very well, and I was hoping someone could help give me some advice on how I can fix it. Here is what I have written so far.
How can I fix this problem?"
Not allowed in the WP
"I'm writing a story and hoped I could get some critique. Please tell me what you think!
Any advice?"
I hope this makes things a little clearer about what may be posted in the WP. If you want general critique, feel free to ask for it in the appropriate subforum. Thank you for your time.
