Anlu briskly walked up the the academy doors where she would now be teaching. It didn't take her too long to get the job as the village was in desperate need. She did, however, feel that her age would be a problem for the other students... as she was only 13. Going through her plan once more in her head, she formed a handseal and disguised herself. Henge no Jutsu. When the smoke cleared a woman about in her mid twenties appeared with a bright smile. Standing there, she waited for her students to arrive.

Arashi sat up in his bed, stretching his arms wide and yawning. He turned off his alarm lock, and leapt out of bed. He jumped in place a little bit, and shook off all the sleep. He took off his pajama shirt and pants, and dressed himself in his usual attire. He tightened his bandanna on his head and made sure his necklace was still around his neck. He went downstairs, and ate breakfast. He left the house, and ran to the school.

He walked through the door of his classroom, and saw Anlu. He bowed, and said, "Ohayo Gozaimasu, Sensei."

Taka walked through the Academy doors and walked through the building. It'd be fun to train with other people his age, and he was quite excited. Although, his genetic mutation might make having friends hard. He'd just have to lay-low for a while until he was ready to reveal his...deformity. Taka opened the door to his classroom and saw his teacher and another student. He pulled his face mask down from his nose and smiled.
"Hello. I'm Kamereon Takashi, but just call me Taka please."
He took his seat in a second row desk on the right.
"Curious though, do you know my clan by any chance?"

Arashi sat in his chair, which, ironically, was right next to Taka's. "I'm Ishii Arashi, and no, I don't think I have." He replied. He looked at his seat partner, and observed his appearance. He was dressed fairly strangely... Arashi had never seen that shirt pattern before in his life, but he guessed that it helped when hiding in underbrush. Also, he had a facemask, which wasn't usually worn by Academy students. HE guessed that he might have a facial flaw, but then again, he might've not. He may wear because he likes the style. "Why do you ask?"

Taka set his head on his hand and observed the other student. It was obvious that Taka would be the strange one or outcast of this class. He lifted his head up, stretched his arms, and laid back a little in his seat.
"Kamereon Takashi. Just Taka though, if you please."
Taka sat up straight and tap his finger on the desk softly.
"No reason. Just wondering if anyone knew. I figured we weren't well-known."
He looked over at the teacher and smiled slightly under his mask. Maybe this class would be interesting after all.

"Well, I don't know the local clans very well." Arashi smiled softly. "I wasn't born here, and am still getting used to the village. I have to have a map to buy groceries...." He laughed pathetically. He wasn't exactly proud of that fact. He leaned back in the chair and put his hands behind his head. "So, do you wear that mask for style, or for some other, more practical reason?"

Taka smiled and nodded. He remembered how he had such a bad sense of direction before his training for the academy.
"I know how you feel. If you ever need to know where something is, just ask."
Taka cocked an eyebrow and leaned back in his chair, rocking it back and forth with his feet against the desk.
"Practical. You'll find out eventually. I won't spoil the surprise..."

"Well, surprises piss me off." Arashi sighed. "If they surprised me enough, I would kill my best friend. I get extremely irritable when people just come up on me and surprise me." Arashi realized what he had just said, and palmed his head. "Not to sound like a clinically insane person."

He sighed. "Well, the other students are extremely late. What IS taking them so long?"

Her disguise seemed to be working... the two students didn't see her as the little girl she was. Smiling she bowed to the two of them. "It's nice to meet both of you, and I'm glad you're taking so well to eachother this early. First off, as we start class, I would like to ask a few questions." Stepping closer to the desks she continued. "I would like to know what your view of a true shinobi is, your particular fighting style, and your future goals." Getting back to her own seat she smiled in encouragement.

Taka shrugged to Arashi and looked at the teacher. He had a strange feeling about her, but was unable to put his finger on it. Taka slid his chair back and stood up to bow. He figured he'd go first.
"I believe a true shinobi is one who's not formidable in battle, but one who's ideals and strengths lead people. They better themselves and better the others around him in order to strengthen the village as a whole and not just themselves. Shinobi aren't just fighters to me, they're protectors."
Taka took a breath to pause and continued,
"In fighting, it's simple really. The faster fighter wins. If the opponent can't touch you, they can't win. I prefer the sneak attack followed by confusing blows and flurries that tend to disorientate the opponent. Then, crawl back into the darkness and repeat the cycle, since shinobi are meant to be hidden."
He took one last breath and finished,
"My goals are to surpass my sister whom made chuunin within 1 and 1/2 years time. I also want to become a swordsmaster, although maybe that's not the shinobi style."
Taka smiled and sat back down.

Anlu smiled with a nod. "Your goals are admirable, and I like your description of a true shinobi.... however, it is true that you can't attack what you can't catch, physically.... but with a genjutsu or wide-ranged ninjutsu it wouldn't be as hard. Also... fighting someone hand to hand, if they have the endurance, they can withstand the attacks of their opponent and strike when the other weakens... So... if you want to be a fast shinobi, which is great, you must build up your strength and endurance as well..."

Arashi smiled. HE had been asked this question before, and he was ready. He stood up.

"I believe a shinobi is one who is able to judge a situation calmly, without hesitation, and precisely, without his emotions getting in the way, and then is able to strike quickly and accurately. They stick to their mission, and leave feelings for later." He thought for a moment. "I would like to become a well-balanced fighter, with abilities in genjustsu, taijutsu, and ninjutsu. I think a simple approach is good, Attack, dodge, hide, heal, repeat. My goals.... to become a great ANBU, and serve my Kage well."

He sat down, hoping his answer was good enough.

Sana ran down the hallway, speeding. Dammit, Dammit, Dammit, dammit, dammit!!!! She turned a corner. She ran into a wall, but kept running. So damn late!!! She opened the door to the classroom, breathing heavily. She stopped for a second...
"Wh....what.... did I.... miss....?" She asked, and walked to her seat.

Anlu smiled and nodded. "Well balanced, eh? That's sounds pretty good, but there will be something that you lean towards the most. Truth is... no one is good at everything, so yes, it would be wise to train in all things to cover weakness, but you should train on your strengths and the skills that compliment them." She smiled as a new student walked in and directed her to her seat. "It is also pleasing to know you wish to serve your Kage well, he would be pleased, perhaps even flattered." With finishing up there, she turned back to the late student. "You're Sana correct?" She checked her clipboard to make sure. "Right now we are discussing what we think a true shinobi is, our fighting style, and our future goals. Now would be your turn to speak."

Arashi accepted that he should work in his strengths. But when Sana came in, he shook his head, and sighed. Late yet again, huh? He smiled. Well, Can't copy off my answer. Think on your own Sana.

Sana sweated, and gulped. Oh man.... She thought...

"Well, uh...." She thought for a second. " A true shinobi, I think, is one that can keep his promises, and not let grudges take over their actions on the battlefield. I would love to be a master of Taijutsu and Genjutsu, an attack strategy I like. Hit and run, basically, and my goal.... is to find my father, and surpass him in every way." She sat in her seat having stood next to it this whole time. "Oh, and to be puntual to class... for once..." She smiled sheepishly.

Arashi smiled. Good job! He whispered.
