It was still summer, and yet a small rain storm was blowing through. The sky was a pale grey, that was getting darker as time went on. So on days like this, most creatures would find cover, but Calantha did not. A little rain didn't scare the young grey mare, whose coat nearly matched the sky. She continued through the clearing heading towards the forest that surround it, she intended on staying out as long as it wasn't raining. But since everyone was already in hiding, she was quite bored, with no one to talk to.
But she continued on, hoping that she might find someone hiding in the forest, or perhaps even someone bold enough to brave the rain.

Atum stuck out like a sore thumb in this weather. His black pelt seemed to be aplifed, his golden strans of hair in a sea of blue looked like sun breams from afar. He was quiet easy to spot, even as he laid under a lone willow tree, on the egde of the forest. Atum wasn't afraid of the rain, the tree was just such a prefect place to watch the rain than under the sagging branchs of the weeping williow. It was poetic in the stallion's mind. He was humming a drepressing song to match the tone of his suroundings though a smile was apon his face.

Calantha continued forward, only seeing a few hares dart out of their holes to get a meal before the rains started. Over the cold breeze that swept through the area, she could hear someone humming a song. Curious to see who it was, she headed towards the sound. After a few minutes of searching, she came upon a weeping willow, under which she could see a black stallion. "Hello?" She said as she came closer to the willow.

Atum stopped humming as the mare drew near and smiled to her. "Bonjour madam. Such dery weather we are having today, yet it holds it's own beauty." His voice, though deep, was soft and had a french accent to it. He ruffled his wings a bit before he spoke again. "My name is Atum. What is the name of the mare who'spreseces I have been blessed with today?" He asked her.

"Yes it does have its charms, I quite like the cooler weather." She said as she peered under the willow, pushing some of it aside with her head. "I am Calantha." She added as she stood half under the willow.

Atum smiled to Calantha. "It is an honor to meet you, madam Calantha." He bowed his head to her as he spoke. He always bowed to someone he had just met...It was only polite. "As the son of desert goddess I do prefer the warth myself yet such a day hold so much poetic beauty I just must get out to enjoy it while it lasts."

"I do like the sunny weather, but I don't like it when it is very hot, then it is almost too hot to fly." She said as she felt the first splashes of rain on her back, since she was still only have under the tree.

"I am not the greatest at flying, my mother is much more skilled." She said as she stepped fully under the willow. "But I have been getting better, though I still can't fly for that long before tiring." She said as she shook the water from her wings, but it wasn't much since the rain had only just started.

"My mother has wings, but my father doesn't, I have a sister but I haven't met her." She said as she glanced out to watch the rain. "I did inherit a few things from my father though." She said as she lifted up one wing, to show the apples and flowers were on her coat. "And he is also grey like me." She added.

"Both of my parents have wings, it was only natural that me and my siblings also resived wings. The golds and blues apon me where that of my mothers, the white is from my father. My pelt..It is hard to say. Both of my parents are as black as the night." He chuckled softly.

"I can only assume my sister may have inherited my mother's blue coat, since I received my father's. I should try to find her someday, even in all my travels I haven't run into her." She said as she turned to watch the rain fall, which was now coming down quite hard.

"I never really asked my mother, it is just the way things are for me I guess." She said as she watched him. "Perhaps next time I see her I will ask."
