In sunday school today we had to rate each thing from 1-10 of how big an infuence they had in our life and decisions. I enjoyed it because it got you thinking about what really does. I think it would be fun if we all tried it. If you don't want to post it due to it being to personal that's fine. Here's mine
Friends-I placed it as a 4 because as much as I love my friends not alot of them are going down the right pathsand I choose not to follow them.
Television- I put it at a zero because I never watch tv.
Family-I placed it at a six because wether I like it or not they do influence me because they are always there and always teaching me something.
Music- Is at an 8 because Im always listening to music of some sort and I like relating to it.
Church-Is a defitnet 10! Ever Since I started going back to church I found myself happier and making better decisions.
God-He is deffitnetly a 10.
School- This 0one was a tough one. For school in general such as the work I put at a 7 but the people such as fellow students well, thats a 2.
Magazines- Is at a .5. I read the,m alot and collect them but they dont really influence me.

Friends- I'll put a 8 because I spend a lot of time with them
Television-This is probeally a 5, because this is all my family does is watch t.v.
Family-I think Familily is a 9, because i do what my parents tell me, and they put their morals into me
Music-Uhh. . . 7 I listen to music a lot
Church- 9, I spend a lot of time at church
God-10, I try to do what He tells me to do
School-Unfortunatally 7, I spend too much time there
Magazines-2, I dont really get magazines, just 1, Breakaway

Hmm...
Friends- 7. Some influence me quite a bit, like church friends, but I dont give into a lot of stuff I know I shouldnt do.
Television-4. I dont pay attention to the T.V. much.
Family-9. In the long run, my parents have really shaped my life.
Music-6. Dont listen to a lot of music, but it Christian music makes me think.
Church- 9.5, I dont spend quiet enough time there, but it inspires me a lot.
God-10, He definetly changes my life. When I backslide, he's always there to pick me back up.
School-Hmm... 6.
Magazines-0 I dont read magazines

Friends: 4 i dont like being like others. I love my f4riends ..when they're not offending me. but they know i dont like to follow people.
Television: 0. I hate tv. all the commercials these days are sexual, and the thigns people say are just wrong
Family: maybe 3 or 4. i love my family but i dont try to be like them, and they dont really have a positive influence on me.
music: 7 I love my music, and its hard to say i could easily live without it. But i hate rap and that death metal insult your God Stuff, that bothers me!!
Church: 8 I love my chuirhc and all, its fun and full of support, but the people are way too forceful sometimes and i got forced into doing this year long thign that i dont like doing ,and im being pressured to do it again, i still believe its wrong to force anythign upon anyone. Plus i also believe that you should worship God, not your church.
God: 9. God is behind almost everything i Do, and he greatly influences me when i do something wrong, cuz i know God knows i did it wrong. But as it was said in the prayer of Jabez thread, temptation isn't always a winnning battle. I try my best to be christ like, but i dont put my sself down if i dont make it once or twice. We're human and we shouldn't Make ourselves God, too many peoople are too proud like that, we should be LIKE him, not think we ARE him. Everyone makes mistakes, and no one is really able to say that they follow the influence all the time. Because we've all given into temptaion without even realizing it. Thats wahti beleive anyway. lol
School: 9, but only for the learning. Ask any of my friends I LOVE SCHOOL!! and i can't stand being distracted by people in class.
magazines: 0, i read them from some of hte stories but the things they show are way to gross for my liking.

Family-2, I'm not big with my family due to past events...

Church-3, I dont like my church and dont approve of the people there, half of the ones in charge are hypocrites and dont do anything
God-9...I'm still working on that one
School-2.5 or 3, i unno
Movies-1.5 on the rare occassion I watch them
Videogames-0
books magazines-2 all a general rule, Bible (being a book) gets an 8

My friends:9. I do spend alotof time with them and they are really great. I try not to gain their bad habits though, and I hope they don't get mine o0
Television:2 I don't watch it that much
Family: 5. I spend a long time with them and my mom is constantly nagging me about how things are going bad in the world and stuff. I guess I'm a little influenced by her, but not much.
Music: 9. It changes my emotions alot. XD
Church:7. I do go to church often, but the pastor is always filling his sermons with 'ok ya' and 'HMM?' alot and plus, I'm too distracted by his constant rocking on his heels and his shiny bald head. I'm easily ammused, yes I am
God:10 I love God. He's my buddy. I try to make him happy, but I know that sometimes I make him mad.
School:5 My teachers are a great influence, especially the ones I really like and consider somewhat 'friends'. They are always trying to help me do the right thing
Movies:3 I love movies, but they don't really influence me much.
Videogames:7 I LOVE VIDEOGAMES! I can't seem to put them down. I don't really get that much influenced by the violence and stuff, but it does influence me to feel better when I'm stressed. That's what hack-n-slash games are for in my opinion!
Books magazines:4 I read alot of manga...which don't really approve of some of the church's teachings. I find them amusing, but they don't influence my life very much. They influence my interest, but not my morals.
