Err, yeah. Before you guys jump me like an angry mob defending their favorite character, I would like to comment on the sequel to the greatest movie of all time (No, I'm not talking about Aladdin. Sheesh.)
This weekend, my TLK enthusiast friend and I braved The Lion King 2, to see how it would compare with the original. Partway through, I started wondering why TLK fans like Kovu so much. I mean, COME ON! He's all angsty and not singing or dancing!
And now to talk about the movie itself.
First. I can do a better Zazu than the voice actor who replaced him. Seriously. AND they took his job and gave it to Pumba and Timon, who basically ran around being the comic relief, like usual.
Second. Zira and company are a big, gaping plot hole. In the end of the original, it was made quite clear that none of the lionesses cared for Scar at all. So where did Zira, Nuka and Vitani come from? Eh? Eh?
Also: On Nuka. I will admit I liked him... but why did he have to have such a terrible death phrase!? Why!? "Mother, I tried." Oh dear.
And those musical numbers. Oh dear.
Alright. I'm done ranting. sweatdrop

I agree. The only thing I found remotely entertaining about that movie was Zira's blatent lack of whiskers. Everyone else had whiskers. But Zira didn't. Does she shave them off, I wonder?
