 EDIT:Why isn't there more! You know, it's pretty damn expensive to go out and buy a DVD or two of anime that you don't even know if you're gonna like. I really wish more video rental stores near me carried more than Naruto, Pokemon, Dragon Ball, and Yu Gio! I would think with the rise in interest in anime that more stores would offer a wider selection.
How do you sample anime?
Does your video rental store carry a good selection of anime?

Well, I used to sample of Mirc, but that was when Scrapped Princess was a new series. I haven't looked in so long, I kind of forgot how. sweatdrop

we have an awsome store here, it sells games, anime, consols + additions, box sets (more anime).
we got anime ranging from bleach to naruto, ranma 1/2 to inu yasha, anything 3nodding
it's like anime central for the whole city whee
I always go there, they tell you about each series and they also suggest things which I would like, seeing as i'm a regular customer wink . The ones they've introduced to me I have liked. 4laugh
Pokemon movies and anime series have gone off now, no stores have sold any pokemon anime since pokemon 4ever [movie #4]. (games are still sold).
and dragonballZ went off years ago.

Ours is starting to go down the shoot.
We have oldies like DBZ and Sailor Moon.
We used to have Gundam Wing and other Gundam series, but they got removed.
They do have Hikaru no go, but I haven't tried that one yet.
I do know that the mall where my college is has 5 rows of anime alone in an FYE and they're even going to be adding Japanese candy and random Japanese stuff.

Hmm, I think there's a little "lost in translation" goin' on here.
When I said "Video Store" I meant like a movie rental place, such as Blockbuster, Box Office, Family Video, and etc. I mean there's nowhere to rent anime. Which is frustrating cause ******** spending $20 only to find out it sucks.

I see. Then I'm the one who got lost. sweatdrop Well, Best Buy is having sales on boxed sets. I was thinking of investing in FLCL since a lot of people tell me it's really good. If it's not, heads are gonna roll. evil

Plus our anime section that we rent is crappy. That's why I tend to buy more, but they still have some Fruits Basket series and .hack//SIGN

At this point, I tend to just youtube it if I want to see it, but our blockbuster and family video have decent selections. Not great and a bit under my age group, but still decent.

I'm not going to recommend FLCL because I for one found it annoying and stupid also pretty retarded because most of what was going on didn't really make any sense....
Then again seeing heads roll would be a lot more amusing so.... >>;;
