Libenalas wandered away from her wild ocean home, away from her pack with an uncertainty in her heart for what she was about to attempt and why. She felt guilty for asking Crunch a favor when she knew he was so worried about his new territory and family. She felt guilty for sneaking behind her alpha for this request. She felt determined to protect the pups of the pack and herself. Most of all she felt a deep sadness that she had discovered that sometimes things couldnt go smoothly and that good and evil mixed in the strangest ways. She felt depressed that she would do something that seemed wrong and untrusting for the greater good.

She reached the area where Crunch and Gracia's scents were clear to her as well as the scents of two others though she knew them not she assumed they were the other siblings. She headed into the territory slowly but made noise to show her presence and lifted her head to let out a call for Crunch, soft enough that only those near would hear it.

With that Libenalas tried to calm her breath and steel herself to make her request, to explain her circumstances, and to argue with a very dangerous male.

Stepping through the trees surveying the territory borders was just the basic beginnings of the day with just settling into the new territory. The alpha's head was high and proud, but his ears caught the sound of rustling feet about forty yards ahead crossing into the young male's territory. Unlike most times where the massive male broke out into a dead run and would clamber through the forest to chase off anything smaller, he just growled.

The growl wasn't aggressive or dangerous, but loud and clear to show the male knew of the pink female's presences. He figures she had came by to see where Gracia was. Crunch believed his similar colored sister was with their deep chocolate brother.

"Libenalas, what has brought you here so soon? Gracia will most likely be ecstatic to see her friend make it safely over the border again though," the blue bodied male stated with a gentle smile, but in his normal gruff and unnerving harsh tone. Though slightly more friendly to the healer of the mysterious female pack further to the south.

Libenalas ears twitched as she heard the growl, she stepped closer and dipped her muzzle low. She hoped that the small smile was good sign for what she was about to explain and request was difficult. She slowly moved to sit infront of the blue alpha.

"I didn't actually come in search of Gracia though I hope she is well. I came to see you and...to make a request." She figured it was better to be straightforward then beat around the bush.

"I hope you won't think me rude, but I wouldn't ask if I didn't feel I truley had a need." She gave a soft sigh.

The concern reached the inner ear of the male, something was wrong that much he could hear in the unsure tone. Though he noted the dignified bow of the she-wolf's head in respect to him. His piecing eyes locked onto the smaller pink frame as Alas positioned herself into a sitting pose before him.

Had it been any other wolf, besides his siblings, Crunch would still have been growling low and dangerously. Or had he been his brother, Snickers, Alas probably would have took off running into the midnight dark trees that were a few miles off from this warm new land.

With the thoughts pushed to the side, the blue head tilted a bit to the side. "You didn't come to speak with Gracia?" This was a little shocking, but the second part got a much more noticeable tilt of the head and ear perking.

"To make a request? Rude?" These words were already making the young alpha male's fur stand up on end. "What is it?" Crunch's tone now was cold and unmeasurable with caution.

Libenalas frowned slightly as Crunch's tone went cold, she had hoped to avoid her full explination but honesty would be best in her case. Especially when dealing with Crunch she was certain he would be displeased if she attempted to withhold anything from him.

"In truth, I wanted to aks you, if you could...give me a lesson or two...in...well I want to learn to fight, to protect myself should anyone larger...or stronger come to harm me or those in my care." She frowned and looked down.

"It may seem a strange request but. I must be honest with you all is not well in my pack, things are going very strangely, I feel that my alpha...I don't wish to speak ill of Twist but shes young and I believe shes swayed in a very negative direction, by a lynx." She took a deep breath

"We didn't get off very well and...I fear theres trouble stirring in my pack, I don't wnat to leave, theres pups you see, but...still I would like to know should anything happen..." She looked up at him her blue eyes silently pleading, desperation evident in her features.

Crunch listened carefully with nonjudgmental cold eyes. The red lightning and white outline seemed to get a bit shadowed as his head lowered some.

"Lessons in fighting? To protect yourself and charges," the tone still unnerving, but not questionable, but the sideways glance ever so often. "And a Lynx?" this time the words were a bit off. Crunch had never heard of a lynx persuading a wolf alpha.

Looking over her softly colored head back towards the direction of her pack's territory, Crunch then looked into those desperate pools. If he was a knight in shinning armor he would say yes in a heartbeat, but Crunch wasn't. He didn't like the idea of Libenalas, Gracia's friend, to be hurt or injured. But then again he didn't want to hurt her in the process of teaching either.

"Libenalas, I hear your reasoning. I just can't do it in fear of hurting you myself if I did teach you. Your a small female, a friend to my sister, and I know if you got hurt she wouldn't trust me, as her brother or Alpha."

She moved forward desperation rolling off her, she was tense but she had to try. "Please Crunch, if you don't help me, even if I were to get a little roughed up at least I would learn. If you don't help me I don't know who else could, and if that Lynx attacked me or...Crunch if I didn't think that thing would...kill me if she got the chance. I swear I wouldn't ask, and I'll assure Gracia of why it's important she has faith in you, your her brother."

She looked at him hoping he would be swayed, if an alpha male like Crunch taught her she might stand a chance. If not then she could only hope she had been wrong about the Lynx but something told her she had been dead on when it came to Algoma. Worse she didn't doubt that the feline would attack or even kill a pup on a vicious whim.

Crunch locked his legs so not to move back when Alas moved forward. He could see the desperation quivering off of every fiber of the white laced femme. An ear flickered back towards the last several yards of the border, while the other stayed on the femme.

This was something that Crunch was highly uncomfortable with and the ridgedness of his posture showed true. Steady, raging, blue eyes looked over her again. "This wont end well. I can just feel it," he muttered.

"Libenalas, I'll teach you enough to hopefully get you out of any predicament, BUT I want you to high tail it over here as soon as you get free. Don't hesitate, you know where this land is and we're comrades, family in this territory."

The blue head lifted again and he moved his white paws forward. "Come. There is a large clearing secluded from the pack and it doesn't have water," the shifting of his eyes just hit Alas again. "Snickers would be there otherwise. I don't want to have them, my siblings, to learn of this lesson. They will think I've gone soft."

Libenalas looked at Crunch relife etched on her features, she released the breath she had unintentionally held. "I promise I won't make any trouble with this, I just feel its neccisary...if Gracia or your other siblings need assurance I can give it." She smiled softly her ears perking. "I'm also pretty good at treating my own wounds...no harm will come to be that I won't be able to brush off."

She frowned slightly at his next statement if anything happened she didn't intend to come to Crunch, infact that was the last place she would go. "I cannot come here and bring danger behind me, it wouldn't be fair after how kind you and Gracia have been to me. I already feel badly asking this favor I will not ask for shelter from any danger that falls soley upon me." She hoped he would understand it wasn't meant as a slight but how would she ever live knowing she had brought trouble towards Graci and Crunch, their pack, their family.

She moved to follow the blue male and held back a soft smirk at his gone soft comment, she knew inside he was a sweet.

"As long as they don't find out about it, I don't think there will be a necessary backup," Crunch responded then looked over his shoulder towards the femme. "I hope that statement holds true. Otherwise I'm not going to let you go back to your territory in a weakened state."

With her honest and good natured reply, the red lightning pulled together almost as if a dangerous collision on the males face. Though she meant well, the alpha stopped and growled. "If you ask for my help, then I want you to follow through with my extended politeness. I don't care if you bring a whole army tailing you, you will come here if danger is befalling upon you. Otherwise, go look for another wolf to teach you how to fight." The male was a solid block and didn't so much as inch forward as he glared down at Alas.

Alas didn't want to give into Crunch's terms but she didn't have much choice. She tried to stand brave in the light of his domainant position but her ears slowly fell back and her tail curled under her. She sighed softly and forced herself to meet his gaze.

"Alright, I promise to come back if anything happens...I hope it dosn't." The thought of a whole army following her wasn't likely Twist had only an army of pups at the moment, though she was slowly gathering forced. Alas took a deep breath and once again pushed her brave front up.

"It's not an army I'm worried about, just that one wicked Lynx could do some damage, I would rather fight my own battles but..." she glanced at Crunch gratefully. "It's good to know I have allies should I need them, if ever I can do anything to repay you I will."

Seeing the submission over take her posture Crunch turned his head forward again. If he was going to teach Libenalas how to fight against his own beliefs then she would come to his terms, and having met them his paws continued to led the way to the clearing.

"I'm glad to hear that, then I won't have to worry about you even after this lesson. I know my pack right now is only my family, but believe me when I say this. Don't mess with wolves that know the lay of the land, or go barging into another wolves den." He knew it sounded like he was rambling, but it didn't matter. The alpha knew what he meant and that was all that mattered.

"As for the lynx, in this territory my pack is the Law. You can fight her here just as well in your own territory, but you will have more friends and allies with in this land then possibly your own." He didn't look back towards Alas but straight forward. "The clearing is about another ten feet."

Alas took in Crunch's words knowing how true they rang, she had to take her own advice and take what alliances she could incase her own pack was somehow corrupt. She hated to think that her alpha was being mislead, or worse to think that Twist knew what she was doing and did it on purpose, but that couldn't be. It was all that wildcat, a feline without a good bone in her body. Alas would make sure she could defend herself and anyone else that Algoma may try to harm.

She nodded softly at Crunch. "I know you speak the truth, it's just so hard to think of bringing my troubles to such goods friends, but I suppose thats what friends are for?" she smiled softly.

Libenalas followed right on Crunch's heels feeling much better in general now that she had some focus and direction. She picked up her pace to walk beside him glancing at his solenm expression. She wasn't foolish enough to try and pounce him again that was for sure, but she hoped she would find someway to loosen him up, laughter went a long way. Maybe if he was happier he would be nicer to Gracia as well.

"That is what friends and family is for. Picking one another up when necessary, no matter how mad you can get with them," The blue and white wrapper wolf inputted. His eyes locked forward already seeing the clearing that was approaching fast a head of them.

Stepping out of the trees the male circled to the left and turned to look head long at Alas. The male's large head inclined upwards as his ears slowly rotated on top listening. Once both ears were facing forward again the male stepped into the dry spot in the middle of the clearing.

This dry grass was actually a bit higher up then the other lush green grasses surrounding it. "What do you want to know and learn first?"

Libenalas looked at Crunch with a soft smile seemed he really was a sweety inside but his outside was as crunchy as his name. She followed him into the clearing and looked around getting a feel for the area before looking at him intently.

"I suppose I need to know how to give free from a hold be it fangs or claws...and then how to disable my opponent...though I have a few ideas on that...after all it's just the reverse of healing...." she frowned.

Alas did not like to think of doing harm where she would rather help, causing wounds was not her nature it was to tend to them.
