Eloisa Lynn James, the Fortune Teller had never been more than 5 feet away from her own house. Fortunately, she owned part of the cove that had a rock wall around one side and nothing but blue clear water and a white sandy beach. "Itzel.. I don't think this is a good idea," she murmured, staying on the wooden porch that wrapped around her house. She was already feeling the pressures from the world collapsing on her, or is that just her mental state doing that to her.
Clutching her bare arms around her pregnant belly, Eloisa chewed the bottom of her lips as she tried to think what would happen if she passed the crystal quartz boundaries. Wearing just a white fabric that was tied around her, it went from her chest to acouple inches just above her knees. It had red frills around both hems to create a more innocent picture, but thats hard to do with a enormous pregnant belly in the way.

"My love it is not far from the house and I will be with you. Just a few moments. If you still feel uneasy we will come right back. Just...try for me?" The green eyed elf said as he held a basket in one hand and took one of her delicate hands in his other. "Listen to the waves Eloisa. There are no others here. Just you, me, our future, and the waves." He grinned happy to get her this far. He wanted to see her outside of the shop/house.
He had packed the lunch himself....ok with the help of Jenna but still he tried. If they couldn't go to the town then he wanted at least to go to the cove the was on Eloisa's property. It was beautiful to behold and everything about it called to him. The white sandy beach and the smell of the salt mixing with the native flowers growing in the foliage. It was the perfect day too. It was a little before noon so the sandy wouldn't be too warm yet and Eloisa wouldn't over heat.
He looked at her again. "Please love? I will keep you safe."

Eloisa Lynn made a uncertain look on her face but she took a step at a time until she got to the sand part. Touching it, she squeaked but went down all the way. "Eww..," she made a scrunched up look at Itzel, then murmured something in italian about a particular overbearing but loving elf. "Ok.. what next?" she said uncertain, not liking the feel of sand against her skin, it was too rough, but the fresh air was good; the babies were responding in good health with a jab here and there. However, one of them kicked her bladder like it was something to play with now. "Need to use the chamber pot again," she muttered then felt her way up the stairs again and disappeared into the house. About 15 minutes and a few seconds later, the fortune teller came out again and rejoined Itzel.

He was proud she had come this far with him. He spread out a blanket out for her to sit on while she disappeared inside. When she came out he guided her to the blanket and helped her ease down onto it's soft surface. "We can relax and enjoy the food Jenna and I worked on. Then...maybe a nice walk in the water." His eyes danced as they always did when he got this close to the water. Yes he had settled down and quiet willingly so but he still loved the sea. He felt at peace when he listened the the seagulls and waves.

"Its nice.. but I don't like the sand," Eloisa Lynn said as she looked downward as she wiggles her toes then sighed. "I went back in and got a crystal quartz," she said, touching her necklace that was binded to a piece of crystal quartz then groans hard from a violent kick to her ribs.

"If they move around this much now then I wonder how they are going to be when they are out here." Itzel joked as he placed a hand on her stomach. Yes he had finally figured out that there was more then one in there. He couldn't be more excited really. He sat down near her legs and started to rub her feet. "If the sand bothers you so much I can go find you some sandles. That would help I think."

"No no I am fine," Eloisa Lynn murmured a lie as she sighed. "Tell me about your homeland."

Itzel looked at her critically for a moment before kissing her hand and standing. "Just a moment my love and I will tell you anything you want." He then trotted inside and asked Jenna if Eloisa had any sandles. The girl helped him find some that would fit her dainty feet and then he returned to her. "Here we are. Just in case you change your mind." He set the sandles down close to her.
"Now...you asked about my homeland? Let me think..." He closed his eyes to picture the land where he had grown up. "When you first step onto the island it just welcomes you. The birds sing sweetly and you can smell the fruits ripening in the trees. The flowers tickle you as you walk along the forest paths while the ferns and trees shade you from the sun. It is truly beautiful most of the time." He smiled as he finished speaking.

"Sounds beautiful," Eloisa Lynn murmured as she supported herself by relying on her arms to prompt her upper body up off the ground. "Then why did you leave?" she asked Itzel quietly.

The playful man's face became a bit more somber. "A beautiful home can be very lonely. My parents died when I was young and my siblings all found their own way into the world. There was...nothing for me there. So I left on the first boat I could." He shrugged a little."This is the first time I have really settled down since then. The first time I ever rally had a reason to settle down." He then grew quiet as he thought of things from that time.

"I dont mean to upset you and all," Eloisa Lynn murmured as she leaned on him for support. "And your.. former love," she asked quietly, lifting her face towards him as if asking a personal question.

He knew that question was coming. He even felt his lips pull into a rueful smile as he looked at Eloisa. "She was a sailor like me. A little rough around the edges but a good person at heart." A chuckle escaped him as he remembered some of the more...interesting adventures they had. "We drove the captain a little crazy but she forgave us in the end."
Itzel leaned forward and dragged a finger through the sand as he gathered his words to continue. "Our ship encountered some...less then honorable pirates one day. They boarded us and the fight was very bloody. Kilana didn't make it." He paused a moment or two as that event flashed in his mind. "I had only told her how I felt the night before but it still hurt. I couldn't stay on that ship anymore. So I left and eventually I drifted into this harbor." He then took hold of his fortune teller's hand. "Where I found my future. I love you Eloisa."

"I knew you carry some sadness with you, but not that I suppose. A death of another love leaves a person either scarred for life and alone or more willing to be with another. The eye stones never lie," Eloisa Lynn murmured as she lean against Itzel in comfort.
"Since I asked you a personal question, you are allowed to ask one too," Eloisa Lynn, the fortune teller said quietly as she nudged him.

The elf smiled at her and kissed her forehead as the sun climbed higher in the sky. "If I am allowed then I will ask. You don't have to answer however." He then caressed her cheek with a finger. "What happened to your eyes?"

Now that was a bit too personal for her, but Eloisa Lynn knew he gets to the heart of the matter anyway. She loved him for it, not bullshitting around on subjects like that when he actually cares about what happened, even if it did happened in the past. "I took a knife and stabbed my eyes out," she murmured softly as to dampened down the news.
