{Setting- Forest clearing, Time- Morning}Evadne was laying down on the soft dirt in the center of a forest clearing, her legs tucked underneath her. Her ears twitched front to back due to a few small flies that flew about her, not having much else to do except to annoy her. She woke up and snorted, sleepily shaking her head so as to rid herself of the little nuisances. She looked to see if she might have shaken the ribbon in her mane off; a smile creased along her face to see that she hadn't.
Slowly, one by one, Evadne got back on her hooves, standing straight on all fours. Having just woken up from her sleep, she tried to get herself back to full attention of her surroundings, unaware if she was alone here or not, seeing as she had been sleeping out in the open, She could have attracted the attention of some predators. But she felt too tired to really pay much attention to the factor. She just scanned the trees that surrounded the clearing and then started to inspect the patches of grass. She finally found a patch of grass that, she felt, would be alright to eat and bent her head down to the ground, munching on her first meal of the day.

Just like any old day, Cualtzin once again found himself wondering around aimlessly. It was the only way that made life more interesting, made everything and everyone he ran into more exciting. Since, if he didn't do this, he wouldn't have met them at all. Though, He normally only ran into good soquili. His familiar, Haidar, had completely given up on trying to keep up with him, and instead decided to tag along with Tally to make sure she was safe. Of course, that made Cualtzin a lot happier hearing that his friend wanted to try to protect his mate.
It took a few moments before the stallion realized that he was in a clearing of some sort. Though, his attention was lost when he noticed a bunch of pretty flowers on a bush. "OH! SO PRETTY!" he said loudly, making birds in a tree closest to him fly out of shock from the noise that came out of no where. Of course, Cualtzin didn't even realize the birds flew away, nor did he realize that there was a white mare close to where he was.
No... His attention was fully on the lovely yellow and pink roses. Though, he did like his much better, though roses smelled a lot better then the ones he had. He trotted over to the bush and took in deep breaths as his nose was right in front of the flowers. Well, more like squishing one of the pretty roses.

Evadne's head shot up from the patch of grass that she was nibbleing upon, suprised from someone's sudden shout of delight. She had been too distracted to notice the stallion until he finally spoke. She watched as he sniffed the roses on the bush, unsure as to interupt him or not as he seemed really enveloped in the flowers. She didn't want to seem rude in interupting what he was doing.
'Well... it wouldn't hurt to give a single greeting', Evadne thought. She took a few steps from her patch of grass to the Stallion and the rose bush and cleared her throat. "Why Hello!", she said in the most enthusiastic tone that she could give out, still feeling a bit sleepy from recently waking up.

Cualtzin turned quickly from the flowers to a lovely mare. "OH! HI! I'm Cualtzin!!!" He said to her as he was now fully turned towards her. He didn't mean to yell, but it seemed to happen when he got excited and met new soquili. He couldn't help but smile as he looked at her. Though, there was something odd about her. He couldn't quite picture it. Well, he didn't realize she was wearing a saddle and had flowers "What brings you out here?!" He asked her with a cheerful smile and voice.

Evadne felt her ears perk and her nerves "jump", not having expected the stallion to talk in such a loud tone. She was sure that her senses would adjust to his voice eventually, so telling him be quiet wasn't necessary. He was being kind, so why dampen his mood by snapping at him? No, Evadne didn't like to have to see people hurt or angry. "Oh, I've just found this place to be quite beautiful and peaceful.", She replied, seeming dazed by the setting around her, then chuckleing to herself. "I guess I just fell asleep. And you?", She said, ending it with a questioning tone.

"oh! What a nice place to fall asleep at as well!" He said with a cheery voice. He noticed her jump, and decided he might want to try to keep his voice down just slightly. He couldn't really help that sometimes though. He stomped his front hooves lightly upon the grass below. "Oh, I'm just out for a walk. Figured I needed to get out a bit since I've been a bit depressed. " He hadn't seen his mate for some time now and hoped everything was ok.
