In the year 2026, our heroes are living in hiding, well... those who were still alive. G.U.N. and Eggman controlled the government and kept the world in constant war. The Resistance was the only hope for the people, but even though they were lead by the best fighters the world had, they were weak and few in numbers. They were growing weary of fighting and hiding, two things they had to do constantly to survive. A certain hedgehog, wolf, and fox were preparing for the anniversary of the turning part of the world for the worst... and another, younger, wolf was preparing for his birthday.
On the same date in the year 2008, everything was calm for out heroes. Super, Sparky, Sickle and Kairi were living in Station Square and Haden was visiting, because his school year had not yet started. Their lives were going fairly normally, well, as normal as things ever get for those guys. Completely unaware of the danger that was only a week away.
But that all changed one chilly September morning, when both times collided.

It was early Sunday morning and Kairi had just gotten out of the shower. She was sitting on a stool at the kitchen counter in her bathrobe, eating Honey Nut Cheerios. Haden was watching the news and drinking tea in the living room.
"Wolfie?" Kairi called, "Are you awake? Do you want some breakfast?"
"Oh, are you going to make him cold cereal? You're so domestic, Kai." Haden teased, receiving a glare from the girl.

Sickle stumbled out of his room, stretching again - he too, had his shower, but no one would know the wiser - he was completely dry. Sickle liked taking the extra time to not smell of wet dog. He looked to Haden and sniffed, expecting to smell something rancid, but instead only was mildly different. "Haden's turn for a shower." He said, before heading to the counter and looking at the setup. "Cinnemon Life, Please." He mumbled - even so, he wasn't a morning person.He leaned in and gave Kai a quick peck on the cheek, and retreated to get himself a bowl.

Kairi smiled and gave Sickle the milk and his cereal. "Here you are, dear. A nice balanced breakfast." She joked.
Haden put his mug down on the counter. "I'll be out in a few minutes." He said, heading over to the bathroom, unbuttoning his pajama shirt as he went. "No one mess with the water while I'm in there today, alright?" He warned.
Kairi gasped in fake shock. "Mess with the water? Us? We'd never dream of it!"
The male fox shook his head an went into the bathroom.
The other fox laughed to herself and continued to eat her breakfast, but just as she was bringing her spoon to her mouth she stopped and stared at the TV, dropping her spoon. "Sickle," she gulped, "Do you see what I see?"
On the news there was an armature video of a wolf like monster prowling around near what appeared to be Super's house. The wolf-thing looked awfully familiar... almost like Sickle's other form...

Sickle looked over to the TV, still chomping away at his cereal. "Would you look at that - some idiot actually got close to Super's house." He said absentmindedly. "I wonder if they are passing that off as the next Big-foot." He said. He took another bite, thinking it over. He knew he might be upsetting Kairi that he wasn't more concerned. "What ever it is..." He mused. "I'm sure Super and Sparky can handle it if it's dangerous."

Kairi glared over at Sickle. "Stop being dense. Look at that thing." She paused and got closer to the TV. "I don't suppose that you've ever really taken a good look in the mirror when you get all scary... but this thing is almost exactly what you look like."
She took the cordless phone out of it's charger, looking worried, and dialed Super's number. "It might be from G.U.N., I'm calling them."

"mmmm..." Sparky grumbled as she lifted her head from the couch. The sound of the phone ringing--along with the eletricty frenquency that was coming off of it--had distrubed her from her slumber. Blinking for a moment, she lifted a hand up and gently grabbed the phone before picking it up.
"....alllo...?" Sparky asked, sounding half asleep, as she rubbed her eyes a bit and yawned again. She scratched her ear as she waited for an answer, a habit she had gotten from Moonshock.

"Sparky, It' Kai." Kairi said, speaking kind of fast. "I suggest you look out your living room window."
Outside, Beo was trying to adjust to his new surroundings. Only a moment ago, he had been in the Resistance base. But there was an attack... Super and Sparky had forced him though the time portal just as he was about to join the fight. He was in his ultimate form, ready to defend what he stood for, and now he appeared to just be in his ultimate form on some one's lawn... He didn't understand what was going on, and he wanted it to stop. He could see helicopters in the distance and grew afraid. Where was he? What had happened to Super and Sparky? Why did he feel so... woozy...?
"Oh my gosh... they shot it!" Kairi said, pointing to the TV which was now playing an official live feed of the front lawn of Super's house. "They got it with a tranquilizer!"

"Hey Sparky, some guys on our lawn! How'd he get here?" He asked, going outside. As he walked outside, he cocked his head. "What?! Sickle... No..." He bent down to get a better look. This thing was more white, but it was so much like Sickle. Super looked around, noticing an agent coming nearer. "G.U.N..." He muttered darkly. Standing to his full height, he held out his hand. "Stand down!" He shouted. He had long since told Sparky of his past jobs - something he had down a month prior to proposing and getting married. Super was extremily high ranking official at G.U.N. - or at least was, until Sparky walked into his life, but that is a story for another time. He pressed a button on his watch, and all communications were shot in the area - including the phone call.

The creature stumbled about for a few steps and then fell. It lay still for a moment, before shifting back to it's normal form, that of a thin teenage wolf/fox. He was laying on is back, barely breathing, his one arm bent at an odd angle. Beo was knocked out.
"The call was dropped..." Kairi said, in a little bit of a panic. On the TV she could see Super come out onto the lawn and the creature fall. "It's just a boy. Look, Sickle, he's only about my age, huh?"
She and Sickle had a little bit of an age difference. She was only 17 and he looked like he was in his 20s... though... he was really only created about 8 years ago... it was complicated.

As suddenly as she had seen it, the image was gone - Super's EMP Knocked out the Camera. As he stood face to face with the Agent, he crossed his arms, a little peeved. "Since when did G.U.N. make house calls?"
The Agent stared down at the hedgehog. He knew the hedgehog's status, but had no shred of respect for him. It was unfortunate that the man didn't know, as Super had half a mind to take this man out right now. In the distance, The helicopters started making emergency landings. "We are here to apprehend a dangerous subje-"
"Shut up and go. He's on my property, he's my business." Super cut him short. The man grew angry, but Super only smirked. "Your held by law to let him be in my grasp until you get one of your little pieces of paper. And if you've heard, that never works for me." He challenged. Super had spent much of his younger days making sure he had a home that could move to anywhere, and set up a large network of tunnels and catacombs in which his house could move - normally, he stayed right there, but now it seemed G.U.N. had stumbled unto another one of his 'home' spots. Inwardly, he seethed - he didn't want to move away from this spot now.
((Since Day one on the original RP I have stated super was an inventor. While he didn't oversee much of the construction of the house and it's tunnels, he has his own Robots. Luckily, he didn't have an evil assistant to steal his robots ala Wily.))

Sickle blinked at the Tv a moment. Aw hell..." He muttered darkly, before heading to the closet near the doorway. He extracted a neat little trenchcoat. "Did you see that man? He's a G.U.N. Operative by the name of Cecil Jariks. He was the overseer to the project that involved my creation." Sickle said right out, putting the light trench coat on. "What ever he's doing around Super, it can't be good - considering Super was the one who fired him in the first place."

"Alright, you got you're bag all packed right? You made sure you didn't forget anything?" Lea said, putting her hands on her hips.
"Yeah, yeah. I got everything Lea, now would you just-"
"Ah-ah. If you're gonna go on this 'vacation' of yours, I'm gonna make sure that you don't try to come back until you're well and rested!" Lea gave Slash playful punch in the arm.
"Tch, you call a fricken government twisten' my arm to make em some stupid robots a vacation?" He said with a smirk.
"It is if it gets you out of my hair for a few months." She said with a playful smile.
"Months? Psh, I'll be outta there in a week or two." He said, waving his hand in dismissal.
"Oh, it's no rush. Seriously. Don't rush, go as slow as possible." Her face was blank and serious for a moment, before she let out a laugh. She cuold never really keep a fake look like that for long.
"Tch whatever..." He said, rolling his eyes. "Hm....." He looked around about him, his duffel bag, tool boxes, and a few miscilleaneous weapons kept in a brown backpack. "Ok, I think I got everything." He said, cupping his hands together and rubbing them slightly. "Now you sure you're gonna be alright? I can add some new gaurd droids to the front of the house before I leave or something." He said, leaning forward slightly.
"No, no, I'll be fine. Now c'mon, I'm sure you're ride'll be her any minute." Lea said, helping Slash with his load of weaponry. As they walked outside of their little base, the sound of chopper blades came from the distance.
"Psh....**** government idiots..... They practically put a gun to yer head to get somethin', and then they roll out the red carpet for ya as if it never happened!" Slash growled, putting his hand over his eyes to keep the wind from blurring his vision. Once it had landed, no one came to greet them, or tell them to get going or anything. It just sat there, and continued running at moderate speed.
"Well ain't that just polite?" Slash shouted over the sound of the wind. So, with their head ducked, Lea and Slash ran out towards the chopper. Once Slash had jumped in, Lea threw the backpack into the cab, and yelled "Good luck Slash!!"
Lea flopped on her couch with a sigh of releif. It had taken forever for her to convince Slash to go on the trip, and it had taken almost four hours to make sure that he had everything that he needed for it... More than likley he kept "forgetting" things, because he didn't want to go. He never wanted to have anything to do with the government anymore. Fortunatly it was a different sect of the security department, otherwise he'd have just gone to blow up every shred of GUN....But with some arm twisting from both her, and the government itself, he was gone. She was alone: totally alone....
Almost straight away, Lea was NOT happy with that concept. She thought she would be, it was apparent that being by herself wasn't a good idea. She tried to make herself not think about it by putting on the TV. It worked for a while, until suddenly a news flash came up. It was something about a MYSTERIOUS CREATURE that was seen lurking around Station Square. At first he looked familiar, but then to her, all wolves except herself almost looked alien. It had been "subdued" with tranquilizers, and that made Lea cringe. She hated to see people treated as if they were wild beasts.
Not too thrilled with the story, she was about to flip the channel, when suddenly a familiar character stepped out on the lawn. A certain hedgehog that she had met roaming the streets of Station Square.
"Super?" She leaned forward from her chair in confusion. Suddenly, the camera cut out. In that moment, Lea was up out of her chair, scarbling quickly through her gear to put it on. Concern for her friends and for whomever that was pulled her from her seat, but curiosity was what got her going full speed.
Not wanting to waste time with running past streets and hillsides, Lea strapped on her jetpack, locked up the base, and was off in the air. She just hoped that she could make it before something big happened.

Kairi shamelessly opened the bathroom door. "Haden, hurry up. We have to go to Super's."
Haden pulled the shower curtain around himself and said in an unusually squeaky voice "JEEZ-US, WOMAN! CAN'T YOU SEE I'M INDECENT!?!"
"It's nothing I haven't seen before, Mardy," She said sarcastically, "Now hurry up. We're leaving without you."
She then went into the bed room and changed into a pair of jean capris and a black t-shirt with a picture of an octopus on it. Grabbing her sweatshirt in case she got cold and quickly tying er sneakers.
"Alright, Wolfie, let's go." The fox nodded, not caring if her brother came with them or not.

"Half of the population of our kind is walking around naked, he's covered in soap and bubbles and he yells indecent. What the heck." He muttered tohimself while Kairi was busy getting dressed herself. He had no complaints - he never saw a female walking around like most males of thier species. Like most Males, his mind tracked to what really was under there.
"Black Holes." Super said.
"What?" Sickle said, shaking his head. "No way." He didn't believe his green friend.
Super laughed, toying with Sickle. "That's why they wear clothes - to keep the world from being sucked in."
((Super had no idea himself, but he was surprisingly close. If a woman walked around naked, I bet you ten to one all the guys would be sucked in to that spot.))

Kairi grabbed Sickle's hand and started dragging him down the stairs and into the street, leaving the bathroom door and front door open. "How come nothing exciting ever happens in our part of town? Super get's all the weird crap." She said, sounding annoyed and waking as fast as she could.
