Oh god. And there were complaints about the DN fandom before.

Maybe Death Note would have been better off with just a cult following, like Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Guys. I'm just as sadden as some of you, but seriously. We should be grateful that it isn't on Toonami nor 4Kids...I get the shivers just thinking what it would be like if it was on them. crying

And luckly it is not on Nicktoon.... yeah Avatar is a great show (one of the best so far... even for being a american made) but Nick does not have my vote for Death Note.

Personally I just plan on waiting until it comes out on DVD to watch it, since I really don't have cable, dish, or any other form of television. So yeah, basically I'm just going to have the buy the DVDs, like I did with the manga.

I'm pretty excited about this. I plan on buying the DVDs anyway (I want those figures), but I never did finish the anime, so I'll get to see it. I also have a few friends who want to see the anime of DN, so they'll get a chance to, as well.
And it's on Adult Swim, which means that there will be only small edits, if any at all. 3nodding

I personally love it when anime comes to america. Even if it's great like DN, the american voice actors find someway to make it sound retarded and that always cracks me up. I cant wait to hear L's voice.
However, no one could beat Mello's voice. His japanese voice was SOOOO sexy.

well from what iv heard Light's voice isnt so great but 2 things
1. his voice isnt as bad as moneky D luffy's
2. we'll finnaly a have another good anime on
