Now I've mentioned this in another thread but I figured it deserved it's own thread.
La Vie en Rose is an English lolita magazine that turned out very nice.
I recently got mine and it's very beautiful and a nice read. it's got advice, photoshoots, and several interesting articles. It's the first issue so it's not perfect but it looks fantastic.

Oh, I can't wait to get mine! I ordered about half a week ago, so it's really good?

Well, like I said, it's their first issue so it's not perfect but it isn't complete fail. there are some odd things like the ask a loli section. there's a very wide range of topics.
But yea, I felt it was money well spent, better than buying a manga for the same price.
It's really nice to show to non-lolitas and family because it captured the beauty really well.

lol. I should've asked Christina (the main editor) to bring me a copy to look at when she came to the last NYC meetup.

There's a lot of people that I felt could make great articles, I'm hoping to contribute myself. I feel that since it is volunteer based that everyone should try to contribute, especially more experienced lolitas. It's a chance for the westerners to express themselves.
Christina has a good eye and doesn't throw in crap. She values input a lot too which is very important.
I can't wait for the second issue. I hope it continues to get bigger and better but it can't do that without our support. This could be lolita history.

lol, Yeah.
Christina's very serious about it, even though at meet-ups she's quite the comedian. xD
Besides that, I'm sure she doesn't want it to die. I think she had said that she gave up a couple hundred dollars to get it started?

Yeah shes incredibly serious about it, shes been emailing me asking about industry pay and such (i've just signed up as a photographer). Shes earning nothing from it at the moment, I think if anything it's making a hole in her pocket!
