Sure some go door to door, others march in parades. We've all encountered them but where? People all want you going to church and praising Da Lord. Where is the weirdest place that people try to convert you to christianness?
I went to see fantastic 4 and about 6 of the pre-previews were paid by christians trying to get you go to church. One was "If your rich and you don't believe in god, ur going to hell." it was pretty sad. crying

Once my girlfriend asked if it was a problem if she got "closer" to god. I said no and broke up with her the next day. But that's besides teh point. Personally teh weirdest place is your home. When jehova's witnesses come over and ask you to join they're church. Or just when church regulars come and give me bread and ask if we wanted to join. I hate it when they keep on calling. I tell them over and over i'm atheist. But tehy just keep calling.

I've had maybe...4 instances of people coming to my house. That's about it. No interesting stories. The last time someone did was several years ago and my family's already Christian, so not much happened.

Just those door-to-doors. I think it's funny too- I've gone to churches unbothered and I actually know Jehova's Witnesses and they've never once tried to convert me. But every now and then some annoying kids will come along with a handful of pamphlets...
They're really annoying...

Nobody ever tried to convert me. Never! I feel so... neglected! But when I was a kid there were a bunch of door-to-door mormons going around. They used to wear social clothes, with ties and all (in the scalding sun, I might add.) Unfortunatly, either they never came to MY door, or I was never around when they did. crying

I think the weirdest/odd place was outside the Super H Mart near my home (Asian grocery store).
I come out with mah Pocky and such, and this old Korean man asks me: "Do you believe in Jesus?" I told him "I believe a man named Jesus existed in ancient Israel, but I am an atheist." His eyes got all big and he hands me this little pamphlet. It had two cliff like things with a gap between them, like so:
Then, he showed a person on one side looking over to the opposite side at God. He told me "You need Jesus to get to God" and the next page had a cross connecting the two sides like so:
So I pointed the top part of the cross and asked "How does the man get across if that's in the way?" and he just looks at me and starts spewing Korean and I just ran. ^^
Now, every time I shop there I check to make sure no one's waiting to ambush meh... ^^U
Well, i also do attend a Catholic school so everyone there tries to convert me as well... Altho I have some..."fun" with the teachers in religion. ^^ ANd teh sad thing is, I usually have on of teh highest grades in the class and I don't even believe in God! o_0

I was at home and one of them came to my door and asked if I had good grades. I told him yes, and then he said it didn't matter if I didn't believe in God. Then he demanded that I repeat after him to become saved, because "A pretty girl like you shouldn't end up going to hell"
One of my friends was at work as a cashier when one came up to him and asked if he had a girlfriend. He said yes and then the fudamentalist told him that he needed to dump her so he could become closer to God.
