Alright, first off. Im sorta a Oriental freak, I love Japan and China, and I romantisize the Feudal Era *Even though, in truth, it was a hard time to live in*
This game is gonna be sorta like that, though twisted and mauled a bit to fit into the Sonic Universe. Any character is acceptable, though the biggest thing you gotta understand is that Honor is a very big thing in this setting.
Ill add more to the description when I feel like it. Ya know, when the thing actuall takes off.

The beautifull jungle swayed in the gentle nights breeze, a gift of the Kami to the people of this war torn world. That admist all the plotting, the killing, the assassinations and murders, that the beauty of nature can still live on untouched, clean, beautifull.
Tosonaga Kobra sat on a small rock, legs folded underneath him, a shrine nearby. This simple stone and wood shrine was to a Fate, or many. He didnt care. His life was in the grip of karma and he simply flowed with it. Dressed in the traditional samurai Kimono, his was pure black, with a stiff sash wrapped around his waist. To the side, in the correct place, where two blades. Ren the killing sword and his personal glory, and underneath it a wakisashi, or a knife like blade for those who dont know about it. His hood was open at ease, his tail wrapped around his kneels as he gave silent prayer and thanks to the fate. Around him, a slight rain trickled from the leaves above, and the scent of the fresh rainfall mingled with the Incense burner that softly gave off its smoke in the shrine.
It was silent, the tiny glade peacefull. Unlike Tosonaga, who, inside, was filled with turmoil and self-doubt. Half bred, outcast. He lived a life of honor, but to many, his very existance was a disgrace. He lived to disprove this fact, but still it worried him. It was almost like a eta pretending to be a daiymo. As his prayers came to a end, his mind begain to wander.

(anyone who joins, please don't ask about how sparky got here, i have yet to decide that fact myself.))
"Wake up!" a voice rang through her mind. "Wake up damn it! Wake up!!!" The voice was getting louder, causing a certain yellow wolf to groan and rolled over on the tree branch that she happened to be resting on. Her ability to choose a good branch sucked, especially since there barely was enough room for her stay on it..let alone move. "SPARKY WAKE UP!!!" the voice yelled at the top of their lungs, causing the yellow wolf to let out a yelp in surprise, before falling off the branch a second later. In the midst of her panic, Sparky managed to grab onto a branch, and swing herself up ontop of it--unfortunately, it wasn't a very strong branch and it cracked beneath her weight, causing her to land on her bottom with a plop.
"owie..." Sparky whined softly, as she rubbed her butt for a moment, then stood up. "...huh...where am I....?" She asked curiously and began to look around. None of the surrounds looked familar, and it wasn't that early, nor that late, so she knew that Moonshock couldn't have tooken control. "....Moonshock...do you know where I am...?" She asked. Hell if I know... Moonshock said. I think you may have had another one of those black outs again.... "but why... I haven't attempted to search for my memories for a while now." Sparky said. "Actually...you were asking be about them not to long ago...and you suddenly stopped talking.." "Then how did I end up here?" "I don't know...our connection was served and I couldn't see where you were going..." Sparky let out a sigh, before beginning to look around. She couldn't understand what had been going on lately. She couldn't remember where she had been, or how she even ended up where ever she was anymore. It was like instead of getting back her memories...she was loosing thing. "...I wonder if Super would know what to do--" "DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT BRINGING GREENIE INTO THIS SITURATION!" Moonshock growled, causing Sparky to cover her ears. "I wasn't! Why are you so moody all of a sudden?!" "....you need to be more indepent Sparky...at least from Super." her other had said. "You can't always depend on him, he's not going to be able to appear everywhere you need him." "...for someoen who doesn't like mushy stuff, you sure no alot.." "...shut up..." Moonshock growled. "If you really want to know where we are, take a look around.." With that, Moonshock broke the connection.
Sparky let out a bit of a sigh, before beginning to walk through the jungle. She looked around curiously, trying to see if she spotted anything familar, but to no avail...she didn't recognize any of it...nor did she think about the possibility of anyone else being in the jungle.

Tosonaga continued to sit there, thinking now that his prayers where done. In truth, he dreaded the coming day, the sneers on peoples faces, the whispered insults behind his back. He never heard anything clearly, nor had anybody ever acted in a dishonoring way towards him. But he-
He was up, the Killing sword Ren in his grip almost instantaniously as the jungle around him echoed the sound of a branch cracking.
Would they stoop so low that they would send ninjas? Assasins to get rid of the halfbreed.
A sneer on his face, he vowed that if it was his death stalking him in the jungle, he would face it like a man, with honor. However, he couldnt help but feel the andrenaline, his heart pumping faster as he moved fowards towards the snapping sound. Gently moving through the jungle, he calls out, his voice strong and proud.
"Oui! Whoever it is out there, show yourself!" Course, it could have just been a rain soaked branch to heavy to hold itself. He shouldnt be so jumpy, it was shamefull.

Sparky heard the sound of someone else's voice and froze for a moment--before leaping behind the tree she had fallen from. They didn't sound very happy and she wondered what she could have done to make them upset--besides possibly surprise them. Not wanting to make them anymore upset, Sparky slowly peeked around from the tree and stared out curiously. "Please calm down." she said gently, as she stepped out a bit more. "I mean no harm to you." She stepped out all of the way as second later, before pulling up one of the straps for her overalls which had slid off of her should. She could only hope that the encounter would only go well. "I'm sorry if I surprised you--" Sparky was cut off as a rain covered leaf tipped forward, causing the water to drop down on her. She bit her lip, and winced as the eletricity that course through her body backfire on her. Causing the violent sound of crackling to fill the air. "...at least it wasn't alot of water." Sparky said, and shook her head, trying to ignore the pain for now.

Tosonaga's face was frozen as he spots the woman step out from behind a tree. Nodding, he slides the Katana that he held back into its sheath near silently. His hood was flaring at the moment, but with a concious effort, it layed down to its normal stance. Behind him, his tail flickered, giving off a soft rattling sound that allowed him to pick up minor sonar, trying to see if there was anybody else there.
"Who are you? What are you do-"
His voice cuts off as the leaf deposits its contents ontop of her, and then the air was filled with a odd crackling sound. Probably like dry parchment being crumpled. He frowned. The tail brought back nothing at the moment.
"Hmmm....your wet." he said. "Come with me, I'll take to my home so you can dry off."
Most would simply drill her with questions out in the rain. The rain didnt really bother him, however he didnt want to talk out in the open. Besides, his servants havent had any guests lately to serve. Even so, he eyed her suspiciously.

Sparky shook her body for a moment, causing her yellow fur to spray of water droplets fully charged with eletricity. Before looking back at the snake in front of her. Her long ears twitched as she listened to the sound of the snake's voice. She could tell that he was still a bit uneasy about her--but then again, she couldn't blame him. She'd be uneasy to if she had been living out where all by herself and a stranger suddenly fell from the sky...or tree. Depending upon how you looked at it.
"...Thank you." Sparky said, as she gave him a bit of a smile, her tail swishing back and forth behind her, making a crackling and popping sound everytime brushed against the rest of her fur. "And my name's Sparky." She gave a smile, before becoming silent as Moonshock spoke to her.
"I don't trust him Sparky..." Moonshock said. "... he seems suspicious--not to mention strange..." "...you can't say much either Yin-yang..." Sparky mumbled out loud, seemingly talking to herself. She looked back towards the snake and smiled. "Lead the way." she said kindly.

Tosonaga watched her for a bit more, and frowned. She had muttered something, but he was trying to hear something elsewhere, so missed it. Bowing slghtly from the waist he says "Aw, Sparky. A interesting name. A brings to mind the Bolts of the Fates Wishes that flash acrost the skies." He gives that slight bow again, his yellow/red eyes never leaving her. "My name is Tosonaga Kobra. If you will please follow me..."
Turning he heads back to the glade, where the simple shrine was located at. He stops briefly to look at it, then nods. Then he continues to a path nearby.
"Which province do you hail Sparky? Your Liege Lord?"

Sparky blinked in confusion when she heard him speak. Tilting her head to the side for a moment, she blinked again as she continued to follow him. "...bolts of fate....lord...liege...?" she asked in confusion. She sounded like she had no idea what he was talking out--which was very possibly. "...I don't know." Sparky said. "I don't even know where I am.." her ears and tail drooped a bit, before standing back up as she continued to follow him. ((i gotta go, mama's picking me up--I'll be on again later))

(Alright)
He frowns, his hood flaring for a moment as he takes a deep breath. His tail curls around his swords handle as he nods.
"Hmmm....So you have no clue of where you are at. There seems to be alot of that lately. The soothsayers said that a time of great troubles was coming upon us." He looks back at her as he walks down the path, beautifull jungle on either side. The sounds of the jungle made a soothing background music.
"You are currently in the Osawaga Province, whos current lord is Ishido Yoshimoto. You should feel honored to walk the grounds of this great lord."
Though he said it, and with warmth in his voice, his words felt cold and hollow to him. Sure, his liege lord had given him his current rank, but he was certain so that he could simply be a spectacle for the Courts.
The path came to a T intersection, the path on the farside went upwards, and in the distant could be seen a mountain, a castle ontop. The path to the left of the main course gently went down. At the intersection, a small Koa pond happily gurgled, fed by a small waterfall of clear pristine water. To the side of the small pond a hut stood, a travelers Pondogoda or Rest House. A Couple of old shrews, their fur dulled with age, tended a nearby garden. He turned to the left with a brief head-bob to the Rest House owners.
"I hope you dont mind a ocean view."

Nothing that the snake was saying seemed familar at all. She blinked, but continued to listen to what he was saying. Wondering if she had somehow timed jumped again...and if she had...that would explain her lack of memory... Looking around a bit more, she looked back at Tosonaga and blinked for a moment. "....Ishido....Yoshimoto...?" she asked, and tilted her head to the side. She blinked a bit. "Doesn't sound familar to me...." Moonshock said, connecting with her briefly. "..Me either.." she mumbled out loud. But then again, Sparky was never very keen when it came to her history. "Tosonaga..?" Sparky asked. "What year is it..?"

((Hehe. Uh....lets just say that uh...'current' time is 2007 in Mobius, kay?))
Tosonaga walked in silence for a bit, a frown on his face, his Cobra hood now held tightly to his neck. Then, for no apparent reason, he stops and looks towards her, a odd expression on his face.
"This is the Year of the Rat." Now he truely had a concerned look on his face. A hand reaches up to rub his chin thoughtfully.
"Maybe" he says "Maybe you need more then to just dry off..." His gaze was piercing, but what he knew was only guess's and fairy dust theories. Just as suddenly, he turns and walks again.
The path goes on for another 30 minutes, his pace slow and sedated, the light rain which was covering the area never abaiting, though overhanging brush prevented much from getting to the two. Finally, the Jungle clears out to show a beautifull village.
Huts adorned the field in apparently chaotic fashion, though upon closer inspection it could be seen that they where infact, in a pattern. When one lives in Paper Houses, Privacy is a comfort. Rice fields where off to the left and right, and she might notice fishing sloops at at see, the beings in them casting nets.
Another thing she might notice is the complete sterility of the area. For technology that ranged at possibly 1950, there was no filth, no wheel ruts, and no garbage anywhere. It was like, everything on the land, and even the land itself, was sacred to these people. Off to the side, a large Japanese style building stood, a dojo off to the side.
*She might also notice that not a single being was dealing with Meat. No butchers, no tanners, nothing like that. There wasnt even cows or chickens.*
Walking to the large building, anybody that he walked by bowed deeply to him. A servant opened the door, and he turned to Sparky.
"My humble home. I shall have m servants fetch what you need."

((lol--alright.))
Sparky blinked for a moment as she continued to think about it. Some of it was starting to make sense, but she decided not to question about it at the point. Coming to follow after him, she looked around curiously. Everything look so different from the city she was used to being in. But it was probably good to be away from it, she needed different surroundings besides the same old city--not that the city was bad. She had noticed the lack of meet, but decided not to question about it. She knew that the one who'd truely be upset by this would be Moonshock. "Servant...?" Sparky asked, as she looked over towards the person who opened the door. She stared at them for a breif second, before looking back at Tosonaga. "I don't need much, just a towel is fine." she said. "Something to help me dry off." She waved her hand up and down as she did spoke. With every wave, popping could be heard. But Sparky didn't seem to pay it any attention. "Do you have something with a relfective surface?" Sparky asked. "Like a mirror?" She wanted to ask Moonshock something, even if it might freak out Tosonaga if he saw she had a completely different reflection.
