But, my children are home from their dad's house. I missed them uberly. We have a new apartment, my sis and mom live there. My girlfriend and I are doing well still though.. and we got a bird, a puppy and are working on getting a cat.
Soooo.. busy-ness!
Update, though. Although Marial and I are doing wonderful, going on three months come the first, her best friend, Lizbeth, seems to hate me. Last night Lizbeth let one too many negative comments about me fly and pulled a huge pity party thing when my Mari-chan stood up for me. Mind you that I was not present for this whole thing.
My girlfriend just called me out of the blue, crying harder than I've ever heard her cry, saying she now had no place to live. (She lives with Lizbeth.) So, I came to her rescue and took her to work with me for the night. Things seem peaceful for now, and she has gone back home, but for how long, you know?
Anyway. Also, the Ex has been giving me s**t for being busy all the time. He wants to talk to the kids, understandable, but he didn't make time for me to talk to them or see them when he had them for his year. I requested a cheap disposable camera sent to me filled with pics of the kids for Mother's Day and got two pictures three months later sent to my email from his phone instead. He even drove the kids out to Disneyland which is less than 40 mi. away from me and didn't call me to see if I'd like to see them for a few minutes. (They live 6 hours drive away when they live with him.) He didn't let them call me when they asked to, and he never updated me on anything that happened with them. And he's bitching at me over a month in which he's spoken to them at least once a week and has recieved more pictures of them than I did in a whole year.
Know what I think? I'm cutting him off. Unless the kids ask specifically to talk to him, his phone calls are going to get avoided and re-routed. The Ex can kiss my a**. :]

If i were you, i would steal my children back and forget about the ex. ==`
Well, you were the one who gave birth to them, fed them, nurtured them, cared for them and loved them (and much more) so you have every right for your children to live with you. stuff the ex.

Well, they're back home with me now, but nevertheless, revenge is revenge. I was a full time mom for 4 years with them so that he could work and go to school.
And this is what I get.
