Ok i am A light/kira/raito Fan And i personlly thing he should have won. Who elece agrees with me?
My friend Is an L fan and rubs it in my face that L won from Beyond the grave and that it was right for L to win. who agrees with him?
I hope To meet some other cool kira fans

It's not a black/white issue. There are a lot of gray areas in Death Note, so some people are inclined to believe Light was Justice and some people believe L was Justice.
It's not as simple as you're making it out to be. I don't agree with what Light did, but I can understand why he thought it was righteous.

It's not as simple as you're making it out to be. I don't agree with what Light did, but I can understand why he thought it was righteous. Good point And i tottaly Agree with that Death note mostly is grey areas also I dont belive light and kira are the same And i dont belive LIGHT thought it was righteous i think kira did and Im not saying Its like darth vader or split personalitys I just think light was dead the min he picked up the death note

I also think that you cannot just lump Death Note characters into simple categories of good and evil.
Light for example is very likeable when not under the influence of the Death Note and is my favorite character overall, but I was still rooting for his downfall after he became under the Death Note's influence a second time. Light without the Death Note is a good person. With the Death Note, he's someone with noble and admirable goals but goes about doing it the wrong way.
It would have been nice if L did win, but I really don't think that was the case. It was Mello's willingness to make a move that ultimately cost him his life combined with Near's ability to think like Light that defeated him.

Once agein I agree with what your saying Its not just black and white And Like you said light is like to diffrent people And Yes it was Near and melo If you want to look at it like that however my friend and I belive that is L hadent have set that massage with all the infromation on kira That near and mello wouldent have been able to Deafet kira. So the way is see it is that L Sent the mesage So L had the finnal move. So Im my eyes L wins However I also have friends who belive That near won.

I was always rooting for Light, even when his original intentions became obscured by his lust for power. I've always stuck by those intentions and the values he had when he first decided to use the Death Note, and wanted him to win throughout the whole series. Personally, a criminal free world - whatever the complications - would be wonderful. Sure there's the fact that people could lie and hide the fact that they're immoral and whatever, but teenagers wouldn't be out shooting eachother down and you'd be able to go for a walk at night without the fear of getting mugged or raped. >>;

well, it all depends upon the view of justice the watcher has. But personally, I believe that it was right that L won for I believe in his view of justice.

Yeah the only things that got me angry about the series ending was
1). Light got killed by Near? (WtF? L is waaay better than Near and he got killed)
2). I personally thought what he was doing was correct.
3). I would not have minded the first two things if they had not said "the world is back to the way it was before Light" (or something along those lines). That personally nulled the whole story for me.

I'm more on Kira's side, I think he had the right idea to try and get rid of the criminals in the world but he got a little power-hungry and got out of hand... >_> I was pretty disappointed when his side didn't win, but oh well..

Honestly, i like both of them; but the story wont end right if both of them didnt die!
SEE: if L didnt die, the story would be the same and sooner or later, L's gonna expose kira!
and if light didnt die .... UM ...... WATEVER! IT WONT BE THE SAME! everyone's just gonna die and stuff!!!! domokun

Im a Kira follower! I love Light crying
Well, Light always impressed me, and even though i still liked L, i didn't want Light to get caught by him or anyone else. After L died, well, i was kinda mad at Light...but then the love grew again xD and i started to hate Near...Can't believe that Near caught Light! scream i can get through Mello tho...But is not the same.
I said i wouldn't cry at the end...ahahah, but they made it so sad...I was like 'He was such a good boy' crying crying Death Note gave me some good times and Light with his crazy plans always had me at the edge of my seat...
I don't know but maybe for Light that was the kind of justice he thought it was correct, and i have to admit when you feel mad about how the world is, u start wishing for a Death Note... sweatdrop xd
