I think there might be one on satelite or something, I'm not sure. *shrug*
I guess it would be okay to have one, but it would probably be half filled with highly sterotyped crap. sweatdrop

We have a version called "Showtime" it's one of the more "gay friendly" stations out there. It hosts "Queer as Folk" and some other homosexual influnced shows.
Another great channel that I beleive helped bring about the 'metrosexual' movement (as I like to call it) is Bravo! It basicly airs all the 'reality improvement' shows like Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Blow Out, alot of "the worlds best "insert hobby here'" shows, and one year it aired a great show calld "boy meets boy" which was a gay dating reality show.
For people with extended cable, there is also the option of "Logo" which is an entirly gay/lesbian/transgender baised station.

Gah, why didn't I post this sooner!
Logo, it's amaaaaazing and not highly stereotyped at all. They show lots of movies and gay short films and some original series, some not original series. They had this show for a while "First Comes Love" and it was basically where they planned weddings for gay couples. So cute! Soooo cute! Plus they have some awesome movies even if they aren't all gay themed... like Moulin Rouge...but apparently it is gay popular... I guess it's the theme "All you ever need to learn is how to love and be loved in return."
And they have Wisecrack which is a standup gay comedy show *gush**gush**gush* I adore Alec Mapa! He also writes the Minority Report for the Advocate.
