of their sword, the men flew to the ground on fire. With all the flaming bodies around, you could finally make out the figure. The figure was a girl, but not a normal girl. This girl had fox ears and when she smiled, her teeth glowed brightly as a full moon. She gets back into the fighting position. “You want to try that again?!” She says with a smirk on her face. “surrender now so you can spare your pathetic lives!” Men start to surround her again. “Well…I tried to warn you.” She says swinging her sword again, once more the men flew in flames. At that point a sniper found an opening and shot an arrow, striking her. She slides back with the impact and fell to her knees.

A tall dark figure emerges from the shadows next to the woman on her knees.

"Looks like you could use a bit of assistance." He said with a sign of laughter in his voice.

He grabs his great sword from his back, summons a fire ball in his left hand, and charges into the remains of the slain men to finish of those who still stand.

He notices a woman with a bow in a reasonably well placed snipers possition. But as he looked he noticed the gleam of a sword behind her. Without hesitation he grabbed a throwing knife from his belt and hurls it towards the man.

He laughed in the now silent night as he said. "Pathetic. Humans are always trying to kill those they are afraid of. You would think by now they would be better at this sort of thing."

He placed his sword back in its sheath on his back, swiftly turned and walked toward the woman on her knees.

"It is a good thing I got here in time. Are you alright?"

"No. I am afraid I do not know this woman. Nor do I know why she was being attacked by the humans." Setanubis said as he shook his head. "As for me treating them like dolls, they are. There is always one human controling the rest. It sickens me.

Setanubis watches as the woman gets patched up.

"Seems in the heat of things we neglected to introduce ourselves. I am Setanubis. Who, may I ask, are you?" He asked with a smirk on his face.

"The name is Miyu. There is a cottage close by here, she needs to rest." She puts the lady's arm around her neck and tries to pick her up or at least able to get her to a safe place.

he glares at raika, then speaks " My name is unimportant to any of you, i had just come to see what all the fuss was about" he spreads his wings and begins to fly off

he stops in mid flight, and flies back down in front of her with a thunderous bang, glaring into her eyes "nice?" he breaths a bit heavy, but it slowly settles "you can not be nice in this worl, only to those you truly trust" he backs off a bit, his wings form back around him, watching all 3 of them

She falls as he lands in front of her. "oww" she stands up and rubs her butt and dusted herself off. "You can be nice to everyone, giving everybody a chance, that doesnt mean your weak, just means your kind. Its not like being nice or giving someone kind words are going to get you killed or anything." she sighs for a bit "but a guy like you probley will not understand. I should be like you but it wouldnt get me anywhere. My brother and sister has been taken to the underworld by my father, so if you excuse me, I cant be wasting time trying to explain my self to you." she walks around him still heading for the forest.

"Raika! Wait a second." Setanubis said as he called after her.

"If what you say is true about your siblings, you are going to need help. Please, allow me to accompany you." He said with a comforting smile.

"And by the way, release her if you value your life. I am quite sure she does not wish to be held against her will." he said as he growled once again and the unknown man.
