Anyone play this old school game at all? I found an old copy of it and I was looking for some friends on Gaia willing to get totally whooped upon (Translation: Would be willing to join me in a friendly game.)....Anyway get ahold of me please.

Nice...Very Nice 3nodding But still man. You should atleast do Retro while ya can man. I mean hone up on your skills dude. You can never be too good at Starcraft after all.

Besides, all the tactics you use in this are useless in 2. :*(

RPG Role Playing Game. You play the role of something. IE: A Gnome Warlock in WoW. Or a supervillain in City of Villains.
RTS Real Time Strategy. You command an army.

Same difference. You play the commander, only you have no character contact or face-to-face persona.

Monopoly is, certainly. You play a businessman. You do know it was designed that way, right? Popularized in the Great Depression as a family activity, the Parker brothers based it off the affuent market of the 20's, yadda yadda?
Chess is you playing demigod or something... I don't feel like thinking about that right now, but it's not King when you piece by piece control individuals... but it's too simple a game. I prefer Feudal, where you can move your entire force in one turn and play commander better. Although I have to admit, it's just fun when you can have a six-way war!
