Ok, I've decided to throw a large wrench into the class system. I'll list off some classes though to help people make their profile. I would like everyone to only pick 1-3 classes when making their character(meaning adding classes together). If you want more go ahead. For moves and skills, pick them from anime, games and what-not. I do however WANT MODERATION! Godmodding will not be tolerated. If you do it once you will get a warning. I will personally kick you out of the guild if I see you do it more than once. (You may ask Adrien for permission to come back in if you accidentally did so.)

(NONE OF THESE CLASSES ARE ANY STRONGER THAN THE OTHERS WITHIN THERE TYPE, THERE JUST NAMES!)

Swordsman- A warrior... Plain and simple. Has power but not too fancy.

Mage- A magic user... Duh! xD Uses the magic of the element you choose for your profile.

Archer- A bow/crossbow using class. Good range.

Thief- Steals stuff... And is pretty stealthy. Not much for battle but good at sneaking.

Acolyte- Healer... Also plain and simple. Not an offensive class but a good buffer/healer.

Knight- Another melee warrior. This class differs from the swordsman only in that they're slightly more holy based.

Wizard- Just a fancy title for a higher-powered mage.

Hunter- Made for hunting things. Great tracking skills. And works well with animals.

Assassin- A stealth fighter that is very powerful 1 on 1 but not to strong against a group. Use this class if you want to be a "fighter-thief".

Priest- Same thing as a healer just different name.

Crusader- A holy warrior. (base your skill on holy please.)

Scholar- One with great knowlege. Has some magic but for the most part not that strong.

Monk- Melee fighter that is very strong.

Lord Knight- Top-class knight. Although really not any different from a knight.

Sniper- Long-range fighter that has deadly accuracy and good stealth.

Paladin- Another holy warrior.

Sage- Very smart and has lots of magic. Basically same as Scholar.

Necromancer- Dark magic user. Feared and hated. But its still just a mage...

Ninja- A thief but more geared towards combat.

Gunslinger- A gunner... Uses guns

These are just example. Make your own class for all I care! But it cant be a god-moding character!

Magic and all skill are based on a simple rating system:

Low->medium->high

And how is this gonna be rated? I have no idea... I would prefer if you use game skills. If you use game skill from actually games then I can base how strong they are...but I find that when I roleplay I really just go with the flow. So just go with the flow. REMEMBER YOU'RE HERE TO HAVE FUN WITH OTHERS, NOT TO BEAT THEM ALL UP!! Also magic is either fire, wind, water, earth, or spirit. Yes, nature is under earth, ice under water, (I'll get chewed out for this! xD) lightning under wind, and uhh... Don't know under water. And from these 5 elements you can be either light, darkness, or neutral (twilight). Also when you combine chars you have to think about their strengths and weaknesses. And combine them. (For example a warrior and a mage, the warrior has a large amount of hp, but a mage doesn't so that means your character will have a medium amount of hp.)

I want to give freedom to anyone who plays. I hate rigid class systems in rping. I want to be able to do basically what I want. But I will try and moderate as much as possible. PM me if you feel there is a problem I haven't addressed. (why do I think I'm gonna regret this?)

Also when making a profile were your char comes from matters! If your a seasoned mage from a distant land then fine, but be warned you'll be watched, so just be polite to everyone and no stupid stuff. Use your head. Stronger spells mean more magic cost. More powerful moves mean more kick-back to your character. Also age affects your character's power. Plus: so does their previous training. No child progedies (uber smart kid, for I can't spell... In fact, this entire post was edited by Adrien for horrible spelling and grammar errors) please. And try to make your characters original. Meaning not the main character from an anime.

When RPing remember that your in your chars shoes, meaning you don't always know were everyone is and whats going on always.

I HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE ANY OF THIS AS I SEE FIT! IF THIS HAS PROBLEMS I'LL TRY AND FIX IT. BUT IF TO MANY OCCUR I'LL SCRAP IT AND TRY SOMETHING ELSE. AND HAVE FUN DAMN IT! scream xd

I'm also gonna make a chart to show examples of classes strengths and weaknesses.

Kire, you'll have to explain how characters can become better warriors, such as Lord Knights. We can't just have a whole bunch of new people starting out as wizards and such. There has to be a limitation so that they can become that class through effort.

Well that was the thing, classes only grow as you rp. A lord knight just means you have commanded others before, its not really any stronger than a knight. the only way to be more powerful is when you rp a lot. I guess the post system would be useful for that...but there isnt a way to tell if the posts are actually good or just spam... really according to my post it also depends on your profile. But im really at a loss for how people can become stronger without the post system... But i guess it could be that the post system is only for if you want a new title and to become a bit stronger. (you know me i love countering strength wit hits weaknesses.)

Well, you should change the descriptions of certain classes, or else people might get confused that one class is stronger than another.

U sure? Have we done all we can to clean up? Should we perhaps...oh dear god...send out messages to the other members in TU?
PostPosted: Sat Sep 15, 2007 10:20 pm

Your choice, Erik. Have we done everything we can to clean up? Have we made this the best it can be before the flood?

Scholar is the upgraded link from Sage. They are similar, but the Scholar is more powerful, and has more skills, etc.

Please note that Sages and Scholars are more of a "phisical, disorienting" mage. Debuffing, buffing, DOT, AOE galore kind of mage. xd

Im afraid devt this is only based on the RO classes in names. Everything else is diff, well maybe not just go to finish doing this...

So... is this just to help those with their profile, or are we glueed to using this system? It doesn't bother me either way because I'm a Paladin anywho, but I'm not restricted to RO moves am I?
PostPosted: Sat May 31, 2008 10:31 pm

Yah these are basic rules but really anything goes in the RP. You are NOT limited to RO moves. make stuff up like i do, or take it from games your playing at the time.

Wonderful! No restrictions means a more confortable role-play. Hope this goes well.
