Especially the last play. 19 seconds left, Ricky Ray back to pass for Edmonton, throwing a hail mary for the end zone...intercepted, BC gets the ball, GAME OVER. BC won 25-19 ^.^

...American Football or English Football? 'Cause I hate 'em both, but I dislike American Footbal more. Indeed, I hate most sports where the whole idea is to injure the other team. Besides. It looks like they just nicked Rugby and renamed it. mad

I use that word still. 3nodding I like it. It's like getting hit by something, but not quite. Less than getting grazed by something. Also, "nicked" works well when describing a cut. "Fable nicked Bob while sheering him." ^_^ Jacked? You mean like, "that's jacked up?" How is it used? This whole culture difference thing is soooo cool. 4laugh American Football isn't all about hurting the other team. It's about getting the "pig skin" to the other side of the field. Apperently, the best way to stop the opposing team from doing that is to hit them really really hard. But you don't have to hit them. You could ask them to stop running. Usually that ends up with you getting fired, but it's worth a shot. Personally, I always thought Rugby looked more dangerous because there's less padding. whee In Madden 2003 there were European teams to chose from. biggrin

You know what sucks?
When you catch a football wrong and your fingers get slammed inward. Oh my god, it hurts soooo much.
I like soccer better. It's fun to kick the s**t out of things. surprised

I'm not sure though. And Rick was a joke... sweatdrop And yeah, it is pretty cool. Rugby is actually a much gentler game than football over here. 3nodding You could take your whole family out to a game of rugby, and not worry too much about swearing, rowdy crowds, that sorta stuff, but you couldn't do that to a game of footie. Most of the time, when the players get hurt in rugby, it's because something went wrong. In football, it's usually because someone was stupid or downright nasty. Rugby is much more interesting to watch too, there's more variation in the game... xd I don't get the last comment... sweatdrop

Hell, in my section there were these two guys jut getting drunk and s**t, but guys like that tend to annoy the rest of the crowd and fights are few and far between. Even in soccer. We don't have sport riots XD
