To say that she was shy was an understatement. A small daughter in a large litter of cubs born to a mother whom never revealed her fathers where abouts, Radi had spent her life at the back of the crowed. Her pale fur and beautiful dazzling green eyes didn't really do much to make her stand out amongst her siblings whom were all equally reaching for the attention of their lone parent. She had therefore spent her short life surrounded by family, always the quiet one, prefarreing to stay hiden behind her mothers 'apron' than to adventure out in to the pridelands as her siblings had.

Upon reaching the age of adolecents though, Radi had finally decided to 'jump in at the deep end' or so it felt, she had bidden farewel to her mother that morning and padded off in to the pridelands. She would never go any further than that, the thought that she should even leave her mother frightened her. Her siblings, mostly head strong boys, striking out to seek their fortunes amongst the rest of the pride while she had happily stayed with her mother, happy to be coddled and looked after.

What infact had caused her to venture alone today bemused her. Perhaps the whispers from ehr siblings about pride rock, about the great watering hole and it's frightning places beyond, the whisper of the grasses as they were carressed gently by the warm breezes, or perhaps a meddly of these things.

Either way, Radi met the pridelands alone this day, dazzling green eyes soaking in the beauty of these lands, almost happy to be alone for once, though glad that she would by nightfall return to her mother and be safe once again.

Ayato hadn't strayed too far from his mother's side on a regular basis, she was an important figure in all three of the boys lives, being their single parent, despite the abundance of lions and lionesses both in and out of their blood family willing to look after them. The male, now donning a mostly full mane (that still made his neck itch in some places, from time to time), wandered off, away from Pride Rock for much longer than he had before. An entire day and one night he'd been gone, just wondering what it would be like if he were to sleep on his own instead of in the huddled family pile at the pridal den. Surprisingly...? It was exhilirating.

Who knew? Who knew something so simple could make one feel so giddy and alive? Sleeping! His mind was made up. He'd try it again tonight, maybe tomorrow he'd do it again, or maybe it was time he tried adventuring away from home.

So, needless to say he was a little more hyper than usual as his paws carried him swiftly through familiar grasses, heading in the general direction of the river, fully intending to spend the day having some fun in the water. He only slowed as a scent caught his nose, glancing over curiously. Ah yeah, something else he should start doing, getting familiar with other members besides the ones at Pride Rock itself!

"Hey over there!" He called, violet eyes lighting up with a bright grin. Ayato wasted no time in changing directions to bound towards the lioness.

She stopped rather abruptly when the large male flounced towards her, one paw raised mid step, her pale eyes fixed upon the creature before her. She knew now that this was a male lion, all that fur around his head, no female had so much hair. Shaking her head to push away the slight feeling of fear as he came towards her in an excited manner. He wasn't going to attack her, it was okay, he was saying hello.

Turning her lips in a brave smile, the pale female turned her gaze to the ground so he could not see the embarressment in her eyes. She should not be frightened there was nothing bad in the pridelands, her mother had told her that. That didn't stop her being shy though. Clearing her throat she glanced upwards and in a voice barely above a whisper she spoke. "Hello" she let a quick glance slip once again as she looked at the large hairy male. Adult males could be quite formidable looking. Having grown up in a litter predominantly inhabited by males she didn't really fear them, but as none of them had yet to become as hairy as alot of the males in the pridelands she couldn't help but be weary.

Strangers were always hard to speak to. Radi being the quiet type, really didn't know what to say to a large male, her paws clenched and relaxed in a nervous sort of manner. It was so hard to know what to say when she met anyone! Certainly her shyness was a great draw back but she had to at least try to be a little more confident, this male would think her simply foolish if she continued to look at her toes.

Lifting her pale head, dusty green eyes found their mark "uhm..nice day..." she bit her bottom lip, her ears twitching slightly, was that the best she could come up with? Well yes, for now at least, she would retain her silence, she was so used to being the quiet one.

She was shy. That was the first thought flashing through his mind like a lightning bolt against a midnight sky. The signs were so obvious that not even Ayato could overlook or miss them, and he was by and large the more naive and oblivious of his four siblings.

"You're one of Sekizen's sisters... right?"

He'd heard about the family through his step-niece, Mosi, who suggested meeting them since their litters were somewhat close in age. Judging by her pelt color and eye color (now that he was close enough to see them clearly) he'd guess so at least, but maybe he was wrong. His own eyes were an unusual shade, inherited from his father, so it was possible that the female before him didn't actually have any relation... stranger coincidences had occured.

"You know my brother?" She tilted her head lightly a slight smile lifting those pale lips as she relaxed. He knew her brother, that made things a little different, he was definatly not going to hurt her if he knew her brother right? Rolling her shoulders she let at least a little of her nervousness fall away from her. Licking her pale lips. "Yes I am Radi.." She whispers her soft furry ears flattening back against her head as she watched the big male with eyes at least a little bit calmer than they were before. "So you know my older brother? He's uhm..out more than I am.." She trailed off again feeling silly for saying such a thing, what did he care if she was never out and about like her brothers, exploring the pridelands, seeing the world, she much prefared to stay with her mother.

She really wasn't sure what had caused her to start to wander the pridelands without her mother, probably the feeling that she was getting older now, she was old enough to hunt and care for herself, she knew that, but it was a hard truth. "wh..whats your name? You're an awful lot hairier than my brothers" She giggles then that shyness lifting for a moment as the smile caught her pale eyes. "Mother says that boy lions are more adventurous but that it's okay because girls don't have to explore if they don't want to." another embaressed look crossed her maw, what she was telling him her life story now? Shaking her head she fiddled with the dust at her paws nervously, she was certainly making a pigs ear of this conversation.

"Kinda, well, not really personally. My niece, Mosi, met him once. You were probably a lot smaller at the time though. Er.... anyway," He looked sheepish, his ears flattening into his mane, his head ducking down with embarassment to be caught rambling about things he had no direct ties to. "I'm Ayato. I'm... hairy... because I'm already grown?" He tilted his head with a crooked grin. It didn't seem like it sometimes, but he was actually a full adult already. Strange. "I dunno though, my sister Zira is pretty adventurous, so is Mosi for that matter. It's not for everyone, that's all. I'm sure you get by just fine the way you are." He smiled encouragingly.

She listened carefully to his words her pale watery eyes watching him silently until he had finished speaking. It seemed this male was equally as silly as she was when it came to making conversation. She laughed quietly, though it was more at herself and her own thoughts than at him.

"I didn't know females wandered, I like to stay home." It was a simple enough reply though she looked over his furry head while she sat there quietly and wondered. "I suppsoe my brothers will get all of that one day." She whispers her voice always very quiet, always rather shy. "I'm glad I'm a girl, it must be very hot.." She trailed off again looking up at him sheepishly. "I'm sorry you must find me very foolish the way Ispeak..It's just, well I don't have a father and my brothers, well they are always off on an adventure so I don't really get to see them much and they arn't at all hairy, well a litle here." She pointed at the top of her head. "I'll stop asking questions if you like." She shook her head then, looking down at her paws. She really wasn't doing very well with this conversation now was she?
