[only for me and Noy and whoever else has a WD related to Jabari and Gzifa] The sun blazed overhead as a splotched WD male looked around curiously. He had gotten separated from his family pack after he had wandered too far to the right…or was it to the left? Jabari didn’t remember where he had gone at all. All he knew was that he had gotten lost and he couldn’t see any of his siblings or parents. Scared and alone, he sat huddled down near the ground. Despite him being fully grown, he still depended on his family pack to rely on everything, despite him doing the simplest tasks by himself.
“Stupid,” he muttered under his breath. “Why didn’t I stick near mother?” He scorned himself for getting lost and not paying attention to anything anyone said to him. Now he would never get back to his pack. Jabari canted his head to one side and gazed around again. Then again, he could find a mate better this way. He shook himself as he thought that. “Bad Jabari. You can always find a good mate where we were supposed to go to.” ’That is if I can even find my way back,’ he thought to himself.

Gzifa was becoming fairly talented at remembering where she'd come from. She still got lost going places, but that was just part of being an explorer. When it came to leaving a place and needing to go back, she had little trouble finding her way back.
This was, of course, the first time in a long time she left a place and had to return to it. She supposed she could have just taken all her puppies with her, but there were so many and they were so little.
Maybe when they were older.
She was so swept up in her thoughts she barely noticed the other wild dog she had passed, though she'd picked up his scent without taking real notice of it moments before.
Gzifa stopped and backtracked, peering at the other wild dog and surprised to find him familiar. She had never been extremely close with her siblings since there were so many to keep up with and she was always running off somewhere, but it was still nice to see them again!
Why did he look so... freaked out? "Jabari?"

Jabari didn't pay attention to the other Wild Dog that passed him by. His attention was focused on trying to find the pack and attempting to rejoin them. This was his fifth sweep of the area and he was getting frustrated with the fact that he couldn't find them. Maybe the had already gone on farther than he could see? Shaking his head, he was about to turn away and wander off when he heard his name being called.
Turning around, he spotted a familiar sight-his sister Gzifa. He didn't remember how long ago she had wandered away, but it was good to see her again. "Gzifa," he whispered to her as he stood up and walked over to her. "Are you lost, too, or is this your den-site?" He was curious as to why his sister was out here. Maybe she had decided to come back to the pack and had gotten lost in finding the other pack mates?
Yet, hadn't she wandered off with his other sister in hopes of a better life? The thought of Gzifa coming back to the pack sunk to the bottom of his gut. Of course she wouldn't want to come back after she tasted a bit of freedom, he thought to himself.

"I'm not lost," she cheerfully said. Though, she could be lost now that she had some place to be. Before, she never had to backtrack or return anywhere, just freely wandering wherever she liked. It was impossible to get lost.
She had to go back to her five little traveling partners, her own puppies (though she didn't look at them that way, not really), before she went to far.
"Are you lost?" Cause he sure looked it!

Jabari pinned his ears back against his skull as his sister cheerfully said that she wasn’t lost. How could she be lost when she was the one who had wandered away from the pack in the first place. Sighing silently, he scanned the area quickly in hopes of a pack member would have backtracked when they noticed that he was gone. He saw no signs of the others.
Hearing her question, he snapped his attention back to Gzifa. Somberly, he nodded his head. “Yeah, kinda sorta. I didn’t mean to get lost. I just spotted a small…rat-like thing and I wanted to see what it was and next thing I knew it I looked up at the others were gone. I don’t know what to do.” He let his body fall down onto the ground as he gazed up at his sister, half expecting her to invite him to follow her to wherever she was heading towards.

Jabari was right to expect something like that from Gzifa. She loved her siblings, even the ones she didn't know well. It was distressing to see one so upset.
"You can follow me?" the offer came quick and thoughtless. As far as Gzifa was concerned, there was nothing to think about. But... "But I'm not going back home. Don't you want to go there instead?"

[Sorry about the extreme lateness of this reply. X.X RL kicked me hard...extremely hard]
Jabari pricked his ears up as he heard his sister suggest that he could follow him if he didn't want to go back home. He thought on that question for a few moments. He didn't really know where home was. The pack started on the move a week ago, so they had no perminant home as of right then.
Slowly, he sat up as he shook his head at his sister's question. "I have no home now. Following you wherever you go would be a nice idea. I want to know what you have been doing since you left us."
