SPARTAN Rory 133 walked out of the Marine bunker as the sun rose into the air. He was in his full CQB Mark VI armour. "Hey Sephiro, any movement out there?"
Rory felt a tingle in his head, Sephiro was checking the long range scanners. "No, there's nothing moving." He said after a second.
"We've been on this ring for two weeks now..." Rory said sitting down on a log, he took out his Assault rifle and flipped it around, inspecting it. "...and not even a dam thing...we should explore more.
Sphiro spoke though Rory's head. "We should wait till the others have fully recovered from the crash landing, right now they are only 72% Recovered." Sephiro sighed. "Not nearly enough if we run into a squad of Covenant."
"Ok....fine..." Rory sighed. It was his duty after all, he was in charge now, the captain died in the crash. He was the next in the rank so he was now in charge, of not just his Spartans that he usual was in charge of, but now he had to protect the Marines...they were much weaker then Spartans...they were slower and weaker..need more time to recover....but he was a solider and he had to do his duty to the human race.

Zeek walked out of the bunker with his sniper rifle on his back and noticed Spartan 133 "Zeek reporting for duty 133" he said standing at attenshion.

Rory turned to Zeek and Saluted, letting his hand drop afterwards. "At ease Marine." He sighed and looked back out at the sun, he attached his rifle to the side of his leg and sat back down.

Zeek relaxed his body and then went and sat by spartan 133 looking towards the sun "you think there is anything out there" he asked quietly and shifted so he sat comfortably with his rifle on his back.

SPARTAN Shinzo 222, appearing out of the blue; her rifle against her shoulder, approached the men forwardly.
"Tsk, tsk... lazying around. How sad," she murmured.

Zeek's shoulders tensed up when he got called a maggot but quickly relaxed "yes sir" he said and just watched the horizon.

Rory sighed and stood up. "I'm going for recon." He walked over to a Mongoose ATV. "Shinzo your in charge till I get back." He revved up the engine as it turned on. "Oh Yusuke, these 'Maggots' as you call them are part of our squad now, so you treat them with the same respect you treat the other SPARTANs." He sighed. "If there's anything out there I will find it, i'll report back at 1200 hours." He raced off, shifting a shotgun to his back.

Yusuke looked up at Shinzo "is there any other way to live" Yusuke said with a smirk on his face. "besides it's not like i chose this job so i could care less about what happens next as long as i get to sleep i don't care" Yusuke said with his eyes closed and he gave out a yawn covering his mouth then started to go to sleep. Even though Yusuke's words were somewhat harsh this was not how he truly felt deep down. Deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep so deep you want to just stop looking deep.

Zeek watched Rory drive off "oh great leave me with this guy" he said quietly so no one could really hear.

Rory drove along the landscape scaning everything in front of him. 'Be prepared for everything' his old teacher had taught him when he and the other SPARTANS were being trained. So that was precisely what I was doing, he was checking the area over to see if there was anything that was a threat to there survival. "Sephiro, tap into my suit and expand the motion trackers field of range."
"Alright." Sephiro replied instantly. "Range is increased by 53%, that's the best I can do."
"Thank you, do you have any ideas on what this object that we are on is?" Rory said, halting at the edge of a ridge.
"Well when we were coming in, I scanned the object, and it was not made of any Covenant known materials...the structure is artificial, so it was built to be a ecosystem like this, and another thing, it has the same atmosphere as Earth dose."
"Conclusion?" Rory asked, watching his motion tracker on his HUD (Head's up display)
Sephiro actually took a few seconds to respond, which was long for a AI. "I...don't know..."

Zeek was sitting in camp still and looking over the area of vision he had "i hope there isnt anything dangerous out there" he said out loud.

"I doubt nothing that The Chief can handle." A AI version of Sephiro appeared on a pedestal next to Zeek, it was a copy, not a very good one, Sephiro left these behind when he had to go, so things still ran smoothly.
[The Spartan Leaders are always referred to as Chief.]
