OMG...'mango'?
What we're supposed to put at the end of our join request...
That's my friend's nickname cause his last name is 'Mangus'.
Although another of our friends calls him 'Man Geuse' like Man Juice or something...XDD

Nice, every director Ive had has hated the drums lots : P
Random story everone. : ) So it was my sophomore year I think, on quads, we were at a standstill drumline competition. Of course it was windier than heck, we played our stuff, and during a song, (we had capes btw) one of our cymbal players had his cape blow over and cover his face completely. He did all of the visuals perfectly and kept a straight line as the cymbals marched to hold for the snares and back. He got the nickname 'Lampshade' after that. Oh man it was hilarious. X D Memories!!!

Oh yeah, I don't know if this has happened with anyone else but our rival drum line would take parts from our past cadences and put them into theirs and it was so obvious to everyone in our band. They were good but they used our stuff after we made it up X3
It was actually kind of funny to be honest considering they have a percussion instructor and we don't. So we make this s**t up all on our own and it always comes out amazing. Although I won't lie, we manage to rip off WVU's drum line in some way every year. But it's only for the entrance groove to their cadences so we don't make entire cadences out of their stuff. Besides, we live in WV so we're allowed XP
