Evenings where the best time of the day, with just enough sunlight to see by but not enough to blind. Or sunburn. If she could sunburn, her black skin had never grown hot to touch or blistered like her slightly younger twin. Mmmm, fresh air just right for clearing the mind. Finding solutions to problems....One problem.
Rolling the orb in her upper hands, the set that actually had fingers she watched the red, white, and black swirl. This problem. "What am I suppose to do with you?" She muttered to the hard crystal listening to it hum. Pulling up her tank tops straps with her lower set of hands, the one resembling a pair of pincers she rearranged the shirt. "What am I suppose to do with you?" She asked again black eyes looking to the sky.
'Certainly not carry you around.' She collapse down gracefully setting the orb on the grass. "Play, roll, do something."
Hmmm. Was this someone lawn? Blah, who cared.

Efren gazed down at the sphere of curiously swirling mists, shaking at it a bit. O-kay. He felt like cracking it open to see what was causing the swirling of the mists inside, but he'd try that later. For now it was an interesting thing to stare at. A nice decoration, one could say. He'd gone into that silly psychic store for kicks and giggles. At least he'd come out with something decently interesting. It had been expensive. It had been expensive but he had taken it. Almost without a care.
Efren didn't shoplift. And yet he had. Maybe even in a very obvious manner. But if those fakes were really psychics or whatever they'd have known and taken it away. Or they could have cursed him or something. A smile graced his lips at the thought of it. Those people were such freaking con-artists. Still, observing the orb he held he could see why they got some people to believe their crap. With things like these. Never mind that this had been the only one in the store.
He walked down the sidewalk with a sigh through the neighborhood. At least there was now something faintly interesting in his life. He paused blankly as he saw the woman sitting in someone's nicely manicured lawn. With an orb. An orb like his. They must have been the new fad or something. He wondered quite blankly why he'd never seen them around before today.

Sin looked up, head shiveling towards the young man walking down the sidewalk. Her lips curled up in a knowning smile, black eyes flasking. "Well, well, well. Where did your's come from?" She asked voice a warm rumbling purr.
She ran her fingers across the orb in the grass.

Efren paused in mid-step as she spoke, spoke as if she knew a whole lot. Where had his come from? Oh. So it was the latest trend or something? Perhaps it was like owning a name-brand purse or something for girls.
"Just some store...?" It was more of a question than an answer. His curiousity was now piqued.
"Why? What's up with them?"

A husky chuckled escaped her, showing sharp teeth. "Yours is from a store? I got mine from the goblin king." She leaned back, proping on her second pair of arms.
Snapping her actual fingers. "Pop it's in my bed. Along with my brother." Her nose wrinkled. "Though that not from the goblin king. He often pops in my bed."

Oh. No. She was crazy. Completely, completely, looney. Efren regretted awknowledging her presence in the first place. He regretted it quite a bit. He didn't believe he coped well with insane people rolling around on other people's lawns with their ball of swirling mists.
"The Goblin King?" There was a clear message in the statement, and it probably wasn't too enjoyable to hear if you were being spoken to.
Was this one of those people who believed in stuff? Or was she messing with him? Either way, it was bad. Either way, he wanted to get back to his home as soon as he possibly could instead of staying her and chatting with a madwoman.

Sin stood slowly smiling at Efren. "You think I'm insane don't you?" She slipped the orb into her pocket. "I can tell. I'm not looney. Craze. Or any other word you can think of. That would be my cousins."
"Care to take a walk? I can show you the notes that came with mine."

Efren breathed in deeply as she spoke. Yes. Yes. He thought she was completely crazy and he hadn't even known her for five minutes. He thought she was completely insane, that she had escaped from some asylum somewhere.
He chose not to awknowledge that in words.
"No, thank you." He replied, wheeling around on the sidewalk and clutching his orb to him. He really discrimated too easily, didn't he? But he wasn't willing to start to chat with someone who had informed him that she'd gotten her orb-y-thing-y from some Goblin King.

No you don't. Sin moved smoothly, reaching to grasp Efren' shoulder. "We barely met and you are going so soon? It's not like I'm going to eat you. " She lifted her orb swirling it. "It's alive. Did you know that? It will envolved into something."

Efren jumped slightly as she grasped his shoulder. Surprise, surprise. Oh, she wasn't going to eat him? Cannibilism wasnt' what he was currently observing. He was observing a looney. Yes. That was all. Nothing to be scared of, right? They were people too...
"Sorry, not too big of a Pokemon fan." He replied dryly, excersising effort to act indifferent to all of this.

"Yeah, I thought someone was pulling crap on me. Some insane thing that children and antisocial teens fall for. " She ran her fingers across the skin of her scalp. "But, it glows, it makes sounds, it moves. Crystals are not suppose to respone when named." Her black eyes narrowed.
Sliding her fingers back she grinned. "I named it Bel. Isn't that lovely?" Sin was enjoying herself, watching the young man jump. He was scared of her. Lovely.

Efren moved away from her as much as he could while still staying polite so she wouldn't grab his shoulder yet again. He didn't want her to touch him. At all.
And now she was informing him quite soberly that she'd been brainwashed into this load of bull. Well this was just freaking great. Positively. And now she was telling him all the cool features of her orb.
"Uh. Yeah. Whatever. I'm out of here." He turned, making to walk away once again.

Sin lips twitched and she sat down again setting the orb on the sidewalk. "Suit yourself."
Bel wiggled slightly before rolling after Efren, glowing brightly and making a odd humming sound.
"Bel..wants you to belive." Sin muttered from her spot, enjoying the last rays of the sun. "It's going to be dark soon. Isn't it wonderful how night comes so quickly durning fall?"

Efren was just making his way back down the sidewalk, watching the sunrise finish as a loud humming noise from behind him distracted him. He turned. It was rolling, glowing, humming. He'd never seen anything like it.
Damn. That was one damned good electronic. That was what he wanted to think. That and nothing else. What else was he expected to think? He was used to his normal world. Normal things. Not crap like this. No. This made no logical sense, yet it had to. It have to have some form of batteries or something in it.
He listened to her speak again.
No. No, night coming quickly was the worst possible thing right now. Especially with weird things like this happening. Especially weird things. And especially weird people.

"Why don't you set down your orb? See if it reacts to Bel. If it doesn't I will not make a move to follow you, or approach you again. If it does, will you try to belive me?"
Bel rolled about his feet making the humming sound.
