The skies where blue, the beach was clear, the sand was rough, and oh so fun to run in.
She stalked along the shore, a dim little grin plastered on her maw, watching as a crab scurried away from the foal's hooves, hoping it wouldn't get itself trampled, if the mini-mare decided to being running off. Though it was lucky. For once, the girl was slightly worn out. After having.. once again, pulled one of her little 'disappearing acts' from home, getting herself far from home in truth, on a 'mission' to not only find new friends perhaps, but to find some 'trouble' to get into.
Always into the trouble.

Trouble was is his middle name....or maybe last....if he had one.
The day had started off particularily well, evading his parents during their many travels....well, they had just come down from the mountians! There was much more life down here in the lowlands then up in the fridgid north where the only life was the occasional bison or elk. He'd been relatively minding his own buisness, when the brash colt had spotted the most preculiar thing sitting on the shore. It was ugly as sin, and looking like it wanted to be left alone.
Now that was just invitation.
Soon he'd realized the mistake of pestering a walrus could bring, and currently he was ripping down the shoreline as fast as his little legs could carry him away from the charging walrus. Thankfully he was faster than the giant water creature, but the thing still made good speed in his livid state. As Zevach laughed like a mad man, his cockyness and arrogance getting in the way of his senses....he didn't even see the filly as he glanced over his shoulder untill it was too late. Running right into her and sending them toppling over in the sand. Yet even Zevach still kept in mind the Walrus wasn't too far away,
"Hey! Watch where you're standing you stupid girl!" He hissed irritably, so much for being in controll.

Her eyes bolted over to the form of the colt, and she let out what sounded much like the hiss a Kalona might make. "Why don't you watch where you're RUNNING, you a**?!" She snarled a bit, which was odd, for a horse.
A second later, her gaze flipped over to the rampaging walrus. "Hoooooooshit... What the hell did you do to him?!" Her silver gaze glared at him for a moment. Now she was even in the attack range of the sea creature. "Run?"
Not waiting for a reply, she spun, nudging Zevach's shoulder before bolting off past the little stallion, smirking devilishly.
This was perfect. Sure she was tired, but this would amuse her for a time.

Oh. Oh....what did she just call him!?
As if on cue, Zevach matched her snarl with one of his own as he debated letting her have it like that other smart a** filly Isis! "a**!? Listen here you little Bi-" He left off, reminded that he was still fleeing from the Walrus as the heavy thuds of his obese body across the sands neared closer and closer. Frowning as he hated being cut off mid rant, he knew it would have to wait untill they were finished fleeing.
"I didn't do anything! He was laying there....it was a clear invitation to bug him!" Scrambing to his hooves at her nudge, he noticed she immediately took off there after as the colt wasted no time in following suit and dashing across the sands.
Catching up to the purple and ivory filly, he could only help but smirk at the timbit of a realization that popped into his mind. Luckily for him his father and mother both came from good families; Twilight a natural born sprinter and Cosette from the mountians left Zevach blessed with speed and endurance. Glancing to Analae, he smirked wildly. "I'm glad I bumped into you.....now I just have to run faster than you instead of needing to flee from the walrus myself!"
Oh, what a gentleman he was.

Analae glared sharply at him, but then smirked. "So, it's a game then," she murmured, more to herself.
She had little trouble speeding herself up, matching the other's speed. Sure, she didn't come from a fast family... a more.. proper one... and yet, all the 'playing' she did, got her to be pretty fast herself... chasing, and teasing her brother. What fun?
She was actually.. liking this guy so far... he had the attitude she herself had.
"Nah, I think I'll leave you to get your a** ripped off," She grinned a bit wider, bolting forward.

"Ha! You wish. I'm the best at running, and you'll eat my dust before being a snack for the walrus!" Grinning wildly at the rush of adrenalin coursing through his body, Zevach did take a moment to reflect on the filly. She was somewhat like Isis.....someone who managed to make his blood boil. Yet Analae had more arrogance while Isis was more snobby. Their similar personalities were a dangerous force; yet did mesh nicely.
Exerting his muscles as hooved pounded the sands to push his both faster and faster, his mind began to become consumed with winning the side game of beating Analae to some unknown goal - the race had begun! However, as Zevach ran a bit closer to the filly, his head quickly reached out to snag some of her mane in his teeth and giving it a sharp tug to attempt to make her fumble.
Laughing coyly, he pressed on ahead as fast as he could manage, oh, he was so going to win! Little did he realize that the two racing foals were soon losing the Walrus by a tremendous ammount of space.

Her eyes widened, as she felt her mane pulled off to the side. She quickly racted, fallowing the movement, hoping to, literally, just shove the male over, making him fumble over, and not her.
She hadn't even noticed the fact that now, over a little, sand dune of sorts, the walrus was out of site, probably tired, and finding no use to keep chase. That wasn't really the point of her running. It was more,... beating this guy.

Uh oh.....Zevach wasn't expecting her to retaliate! Suddenly feeling the weight pressed onto his side, he could feel the sands below his hooves shift ominously as he ran.....he was going to fall!! Well, none the less he knew he didn't want to fall alone and in a last ditch effort not to look like a total fool he lashed out thanks to their close proximity and re snatched her hair in his teeth so that they would both fall into the sands.
Hitting the sand and sliding a few feet from the speed they were at, he coughed when he haulted and looked back behind them.....the Walrus was no where to be seen.
"Hey.....where did he go?" He asked, tilting his head in mild confusion. How long ago did they actually lose the beast?

Analae squeaked a tad, falling onto her side, ending up on top of the other foal. And after a moment, she could help, but to laugh... She was just.. amused.
"We're faster than that blubber bouncer..." she laughed again, trying to fumble back onto her hooves, off of Zevach. She looked down at him, giving him a soft grin as her laughs rolled off. "You're pretty damn fast,..." She said in a breath, shaking her head once, feeling as bits of her mane tried to hit against her face.

Well, at least now Zevach didn't have to worry about being extra fat on a walrus.
Looking back to the filly as her laughter echoed slightly on the desolate beach, he shook the sand off his pelt before giving a small glance to her. "Well of course we are! .....and yeah, you're.....you know.....pretty fast too." Looking away, it was very, very rare for the colt to actually dish out a compliment. Saying one just felt downright weird!
"Well....now that our excitement is gone.....what's there to do?" He questioned, raising a brow and watching her with a bit of speculation in his gaze.

[As you may notice, yes, Analae has grown. xD Ignore that for the RP,...]
Her gaze wandered around for a long moment, before finally shifting back to the other. She grinned. "Thanks, bub..."
His question rolled through her mind, and she pondered, standing straight, before beginning to pat at the ground with her right forehoof. "Well... either, we race more, -though that's getting tiring,- we chill, -which doesn't sound half bad-, or we sit here, staring at the sky while we think of something to do." She couldn't help but to snicker, before a thought rolled through her head.
"Oh, right. By the way. Name's Analae."

Bub. How ladylike of her.
Then again, thats what Zevach find himself enjoying about this filly, she wasn't as stubborn and girly like Isis....definately nothing like his sister. He supposed that everyone had multiple layers to who they were, and the further he'd met with his newfound aquaintances....their complexity to whom he thought they were and who they turned out to be often left the brash and impulsive colt silenced.
Thinking a moment, he didn't want to waste his energy incase it would be needed later, yet simply sitting and doing nothing was just a waste of daylight!
"I know where a berry patch is.....its near a pond.....we can piss off the frogs?" He smirked, cocking his head to the side; a trademark of his.
"Analae.....sounds girly to me." He attempted to compliment, albeit failing. "Name's Zevach. I'd remember it, i'll be famous someday!" He puffed out his chest, trotting regally a few steps before looking back. "You comin'?"

She grumbled a bit. "Yeah yeah.. Blame my parents. Alenazsa and Shishio... what do you expect from two names like that?" She rolled her eyes. There were upsides and down sides to her name, though sadly, Zevach WAS right. Analae was fairly girly for a mare like her.
Analae breathed a little laugh. "Zevach, eh? I will remember it... though I doubt you'll be famous at this rate..." she paused, grinning, moving back, over to him, nudging his shoulder a bit with her own. "Though maybe with my help, you'll end up being the most famous, well-known Soquili around here..." She smirked back.
Her mind wandered back the suggestion. "Hmmn... Anything that has something to do with Pissing someone or something off is good for me." She snickered a tad. Even little frogs where fun to watch get mad.

"Alena....whatta? Shishio?" Wow, her parents did have rather strange and confusing names....no wonder Analae's was just as uncommon. He'd wondered if she had any other siblings....or if he would even be able to pronounce their names. "I'd expect something like Analae." He shrugged, and began walking once she caught up. The place wasn't far, so there was no need to rush and waste any more energy then they already did.
However, he blinked and snapped his head towards her with a scowl on his face; although it seemed less threatening then the first one he'd given her. "Hey! I doubt any help you would give me would result in anything other than a headache on my behalf." He smirked with a huff, girls....seriously. It was like they were a whole different species.
"My own parents..." He began, debating wether or not he should even let her in on his life.....yet she seemed, alright. It wouldn't hurt, would it? "Their names are Twilight and Cosette. I don't suppose any of us have usual names either.....my siblings are Marius and Eponine. None which i've ever heard before."

Analae laughed. "My point exactly..." She murmured, running her mother's name through her head once. Alenazsa...
She grinned a tad. "Oh, so that's what you think hmm? So, what's going to happen when to become so famous, that the other little mares around you start swooning and trying to all fight to get at you? You'll have no one to possibly shoo them away and make them jealous, making them like you more,"
The foal's way of thinking... was unlike any other... Utterly strange, making almost no sense to almost everyone but her.
"Twilight and Cosette, eh? Not too hard to forget. Marius.. Eponine... haven't heard of either of them." She paused, shrugging a bit, keeping her pace up beside him, glancing about occasionally. "But you're right... I haven't exactly heard of a million Zevach's, though hey, thats good. If you did somehow manage to get famous, people wouldn't possibly mix you up with some other Zevach." She stressed Somehow, playfully.
