Okay, so the Turtles get hooked up with a new Xbox, PS2 and Gamecube. Who would be playing what game? And NO TMNT games don't count!

Right off the top of my head this is what I came up with. (I thought it all up in like five minutes while working... in the game section. *L* Work was SLOW today.)

Leo: Metal Gear Solid (stealth!)
Raph: Dead or Alive (or some fighting game)
Mikey: Dance Dance Revolution (he's a party dude after all)
Donnie: Tetris, or some other puzzle/strategy game

I tried to think of an actual strategy game rather than Tetris but I couldn't and neither could my boyfriend. The only ones I thought of immediately were Mikey and Raph, the other two I actually had to think about a little. I'm a DORK.

Leo: Ninja Gaiden
Raph: Street Fighter or Mortal Combat
Mikey: just about anything
Donny: Halo

Ok, these aren't taken from the current systems. But, try these on for size:

Leo: Shinobi
Raph: Double Dragon
Mikey: Oddworld
Donnie: The Incredible Machine

I don't play too many games myself so I don't know that many to pick for all of the guys, but I can pick on Donatello, Raphael and Michaelangelo a bit.

Donatello: Final Fantasy and Sims
Michaelangelo: DDR and Spyro
Raphael: Dragon Ball Z and Street Fighter

Don't know about Leo... I really don't play that many games... so I had a limit amount to choose from, and I don't play Final Fantasy, Sims, or DDR... it's just from watching people play them that I even get those thoughts.

*Though I've been hooked to Battle Nextus lately myself * *G*

Alright, let's see:

Leo would be best in Shinobi or some other ninja, shuriken-throwing game.

Raph would make a good contestant in a fighting game, (Soul Calibur 2, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, etc...)

Mikey would be best in a Mario Party game for some reason... I'm sure Nintendo could find a million uses for Mikey!

And last, but not least, the tech-wiz, Donatello. He would be best in a strategy game, perhaps playing the role of a scientist. (Or, for those of you who play Zelda, he could be the scientist in the astral observatory or Lake Hylia lab. I know, it's far off!)

Many of these games I listed above were very similar to some of yours. I completely agree with your choices!

Lesse:

Leonardo - A martial arts-and-honor obsessed leader who normally keeps his cool, and as such, could play tougher games without popping a vein.
Leo Games - Ninja Gaiden, Shinobi, Onimusha Series

Michelangelo - Quirky attitude, a jokester and a prankster, and loves to party. Has more of an obsession with "extreme" sports than his brothers.
Mikey Games - Dance Dance Revolution series, Mario Party series, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater/Underground Series

Raphael - Quick to anger, and loves to simply thrash and fight. Over-the-top fighting would probably be his forte.
Raph Games - Grand Theft Auto series, State of Emergency, Dragon Ball Z Budokai series, Street Fighter series, Mortal Kombat series

Donatello - Eccentric hacker and programmer, and also very tactful.
Don Games - Enter the Matrix (probably only for the hacking quotent), Resident Evil series, Ehrgeiz: God Bless the Ring, any of those "Tactics" games (you know, the ones that are all basically the same but sell thousands of copies). Hell, he'd probably actually program his OWN games!

Okay . . here's mine (though I totally agree with a bunch of the ones already put up . . I'm trying to just add . .):

Leo: Devil May Cry, or the Castlevania series!

Raph: Silent Hill series . . as well as Resident Evil -- we all know how he loves to destroy things! blaugh It might as well be for the 'higher good'!

Mikey: Definetely DDR and Mario Party . . . but I can see him doing Sims and the Zelda series, too! Especially the Zelda games . . 'cause he loves bein' a Hero! 3nodding

Don: Yu Gi Oh! A strategy-based card game that he could, in any of it's many versions now, pick up and woop butt at in probably 10 minutes tops. Oh! and am I crazy for thinking that you could find him and Mikey playing Pokemon games together?

Damn, I knew I was forgetting something. A long, long, long time ago, I drew a picture of Donny and Mikey playing Pokemon. Of course, it's more than likely hidden amongst my gazillions of other stuff. So take pride, Artue, you are not crazy (at least not in this sense!) blaugh

Mikey maybe a happy dude, but I can C him enjoying dark bloody games as much as kiddy games. I still C him playing anything but strategy games. Other than that, I agree w/ every-1 so far.

I really can't see Raph or any of the turtles playing Grand Theft Auto. Don't get me wrong, I know it's just all in good fun but I don't think their whole sense of justice would really lend well to the gameplay. (And no I'm not one of those "violent games lead to violent acts" people but I AM one of those people who wish parents would pay a-freakin'-ttention to what their kids are playing. JEEZE PEOPLE!!! Sorry... game employee rant there... my bad.)

I meant in the fact that he would probably play it in an attempt to vent.

I wrote an English speech on that very subject this past year. I supported the position that all violent video games should not be sold to children (who can't differientate between fantasy and reality) or banned altogether.

... Now, do you really think I meant what I said in my speech? Hah, it was all a lie! xd

Now I have to admit I think kids shouldn't be able to get their hands on violent games... but I'm 23 so that could be why. But really I just think parents need to pay attention to what their kids are getting! My boyfriend grew up playing games like GTA and hell he's THE most "normal" guy I know. I'm the crazy one, no one believed we were together when we told then. HE could handle that stuff as a kid. My little brother on the other hand is one of those kids who would watch wrestling then try the moves out on somebody (generally my youngest sister). So he could NOT handle it. Parents need to figure out what their kids can handle that's the long and short of it. But they don't even pay attention! I seriously see eight year olds renting San Andreas and it REALLY bugs me! Or BMX XXX and Leisure Suit Larry! WTF?!

Okay... sorry... *L* I'm really passionate on this subject just b/c I think it's ridiculous how parents will try and shield their kids from certain movies but they think games can't be just as bad. BAH! I swear at least 75% of adults are idiots.
