So, I'm taking a Mythology class and we have to do a project on mythological creatures, and I realized I dont know many......
So, what is your favorite mythological creatures?
and also, whats a cool creature pertaining to Norse mythology that would be good for me to research?

Definately not norse.
Fenrir(/Fenris)! I used to hate and love him because of how he was portraied in a childrens program when I was young =p Other than that I used to be facinated by Elizabeth Bathory, but I don't thin kshe qualifies as a mythological CREATURE even though she was supposedly a vampire.

yeah, Fenrir is interesting to read about. I think I'll goo research Elizibeth Bathory even though she isn't much of a creature...
so far after reading about stuff my favorite creature is either Fenrir or Sleipnir... 3nodding

I always thought Jormungand was a cool Norse monster. A serpent son of Loki that lives in the ocean and is large enough to coil around the world. Edit: This site has a lot of info.

Chtulhu is a Lovecraft creation...
Fenris is cool, alrite... apart from that, I'm fascinated by mammoth and/or bizarre mythological creatures... dragons, leviathans, krakens, hydras, chimeras, harpies, sphinxs...

I hate to sound like a broken record but I agree about Fenrir, especially since he's associated with Tyr who is my all-time favorite norse god.
Sleipnir is also very interesting, how he came into being and whatnot.
