So I log on to WWE.com to see this:
WWE has come to terms on the release of Raw Superstar and ECW Original Sandman as of September 11. We wish him the best in all his future endeavors.
I think something happened to him on Monday night that injured him...He was limping badly after his match. I hate seeing ECW originals leave wrestling.
Thoughts?

I kinda figured that he would be going off television for a while now. You know, going heat and working with some of the newer talent.
As for his injury, yeah his leg got hit pretty hard, he was limping around backstage even after the match.
They probably released him because he is getting on in age, thus more subjectiable to injurys, and they just don't need to deal more injurys right now.
But that's just me

I heard that it wasn't about drugs or backstage demeina. During House Shows and Taping Events, Sandman was commonly not 100% to fight. So thats what I heard.
So long Sandman... crying
