 The pale blue colored female wandered happily down the path towards HQ. Her golden marked tails swayed ever so easily as she seemingly danced down the dirt trail. Long ears flickered in happiness as she continued her way down.
Today was a nice day. Nice breeze flowing through. It was just cool enough that it wasn't considered to be cold. But when were there bad days? None, really. Everyday was a good day. A gift of happiness. Even if the sun wasn't up at this hour, it was still a wonderful day. New gifts and fateful meetings were sure to await her.
Her head peeked inside the doorway, golden eyes searching for familiar faces. None so far. A bit disappointing, but this just meant she'd have to meet someone new. Another new meeting was just the thing she always came here for.

 Normally he wasn't here this early, but he hadn't been able to sleep, and somehow his room had seemed stifling this time around where before it had been a refuge. He needed to go out and live his life again... though that was easier said than done. Even if his mind knew it wasn't the end of the world, his broken heart didn't want to listen. At least Endless honestly knew Liliana was happy, and that she was going to be safe and cared for the rest of her life.
But him? He wasn't used to caring for someone... much less that much. And he still cared about both Lily and Ed and he wanted to stay friends. It was just a strain right now... dealing with emotions wasn't his strong suit. Especially not his own. Shut the world out long enough, and the world shuts you out. And then something finally gets in and you don't know how to deal with it... Sigh. Maybe it wouldn't be so hard if Lily hadn't also been his only confidant, as well. Sure he talked to the others in the Place but... Lily was the only one he really let himself... cry around.
So... what? I need a new friend? The thought seemed at once repulsive and appealing. Damn it, he had too many issues. ._. Well... he was out, he might as well... try? So he stuck his head out around the side of the sofa where he'd been... yeah, pretty much sulking in the corner.

Soft colored ears flickered at the sound of movement. Her paws moved with gentle steps towards the curious source of the sound. Three tails wiggled lightly as she walked, signifying her curiosity. Her steps were soft and precise, like that of a cat. Her body was low to the ground, unsure of what awaited her.
One thing was sure. This was another fated meeting. With a soft and gentle voice, she asked the dark kitsu, "Hello, there. How are you today?" A smile planted on her face.

End didn't really manage anything more than one of his signature lopsided half-smiles in responce to hers, but at least he'd made the effort. "I... er... hi. ...Better than I was?"
Technically true at least. He was out and about again, anyway. But who was this? His suprise probably showed on his face... he hadn't expected to run into a friendly kitsu so... soon. "...How are you?"

She smiled softly at his response. Despite his lopsided half-smile, it was still better than a frown. It was her goal to turn that frown upside down before she leaves this place even if it was the last thing she ever did. Though she was sure he had reasons behind his rather mellow nature right now. It would seem rude to force those reasons out of him. So it was best to just leave them alone for now.
"I'm well," she beamed, "I'm Akari...and you are?"

Endless stretched his paws out in front of them from where they'd been tucked beneath his ruff, blinking his softly glowing eyes owlishly. "That's good. Oh... I'm Endless. Nice to meet you." He peered around the room, just now realizing that it was fairly early, and fairly empty. "Do you normally show up here this early in the morning?"

She happily took his paw and shook them. "Nice to meet you, too, Endless." Her ears flickered in excitment before answering his next question, though her tone of voice mellowed out a bit, "Yes, I do. It's nice to get a breath of fresh air each new day, don't you think so?"

His smile widened just a bit, though it was obviously rueful. "Ah... It probably would have done me some good to get out more, the last few weeks..." He said that more to himself than anything and shook himself, blinking as though he just realized he'd been speaking aloud. "I'm out at all sorts of times when I do go out though... I... er... well I've had insomnia for as long as I can really remember. I usually finally wind up falling asleep when I need to stay awake, ironically enough." It was easier now... to talk about himself. Maybe not his past... but things like his sleeping troubles, and the books he liked to read... after all he could just claim he didn't know why things were like that if he wasn't comfortable giving the real reasons.

She was happy that he was starting to open up a bit more. Even if it wasn't anything Earth-shattering or private, it was something. It was nice to know he was willing to speak to her even just a little bit. She smiled softly at her new made friend, "Insomnia? That doesn't sound very fun...But a lot of mysterious things happen at night. They say at night the King of Cats, Cait Sith appears. He's supposed to be thiiiiisssss big," She held up a paw, stretching it out to some distance," And he's supposed to be all black. Maybe you can meet him one of these days when you're awake at night," She nodded.

Endless tilted his head, a bit of a more sincere grin draping across his maw. A King of Cats, huh? "Hmm. Who knows?" He stretched out a bit more and raised an eyebrow at her. "Have you ever seen this Cait Sith?"

She shook her head gently, yet her expression didn't turn sour at all. It didn't matter if she saw him or not, at the very least Endless seemed a bit happier now. "No, but maybe we will someday!" She said cheerfully, "He's supposed to bring luck to those who see him...I think. Even if he doesn't, you must have some luck to be able to see him."

He thought about that and nodded. "Yeah... I suppose so. Bryn... she's one of the people I live with... she has that sort of luck. I bet she'll come home some night soon blabbing about the giant cat she saw in the woods..." He grinned a bit at that. Not even his broken heart could withstand the energetic insanity that was the silver Nobody.
