I'm sure anyone who practices anything similar to magick and/or psionics has used/felt some type of energy present. Some of us know what types of energy are out there. Some people just subconsciously use the energies necessary, like how an artist uses the colors he feels are necessary. Others only know of one energy and use that type of energy.

All energies are theorized to be compounded of different masses of a smaller type of energy that is almost undetectable. Just like physical energy, sort of... Like how the only diference between different physical matter is the size of the atoms, and how the atoms come together.

My question would be; what kind of energies have you knowingly or unknowingly felt before? Have you used ki/chi, chara, psi, or kinetic energy? That energy is pretty much the same. Have you ever used healing energy, life energy, death energy, or Reiki?

I might be wrong, or I might be right. What's your opinion on different energies?

This reminds me of this one time where I got [BlkCat] to drain off some of my energy psionically because I had been wondering what an energy drain would be like. Well, apparently after he took some of my energy, it gave him a pins and needles feeling in his arm. This happened both times he tried(and the attempts were on different days). I also don't consciously try to shield my energies or anything. *shrug*

There could be a physical explanation for him experiencing the pins and needles feeling. It could have been how he was sitting or whatever.

As for a metaphysical explanation? Perhaps my energy vibrates differently or something.

I would like to see if someone else experiences something similar upon draining some of my energy. At least I could then find out if it was an isolated incident or some such.

Back on topic:

I've felt the presence of different energies before. I've walked into psychic fairs before and felt bombarded by energies. It made me feel dizzy/lightheaded and it has given me headaches. However, the strange dizzy feeling is what I'd say is the most common feeling I get upon being bombarded like that. Not sure why. Perhaps it's because the energy floating around isn't of use to me, or it vibrates rather differently than my own energies do or something like that..

I don't get it...I mean I have tried using healing energy on basic aches(like stomach) but nothing major...I have experimented with other forms of Psi and mainly been succesful with fire so far...And I guess I mainly use chakra as my energy source most of the time.And there have been times I have tried making other limbs,like a tail to help with balance.

Heres the thing I find really intresting.And I am just gonna come out with it and say I got the idea from Naruto,but it does work.

Out here in the desert,we have sand(OMG) and I saw a big pile of it and I walked across it,got my shoes fill with sand when I sunk in...Then when I walked over again,I though about how in Naruto,they use steady streams of energy from their feet to walk on water.Well I started to extend even amounts of energy and DILIBRETLY walked on uneven and fishy looking parts of the pile to test my theory,and guess what?I BARLEY SUNK AT ALL.

Energy is energy, but it can change "types" quickly.

For example, electric energy can turn kinetic given the proper circumstances (like a battery operated toy), and kinetic can change to thermal (who doesn't get toasty when they exercise?). We never create or destroy energy but simply transmute it from one form to another. Simple physics applied to metaphysics! 4laugh

Yeah but the wood remains the same, no? Whether it's a knot, or a difference in the grain it's still wood. So whether your using the energy for healing or whatever, it's still the same energy, you're just telling it what to do, manifesting it how you wish.

hm.. i read what everyone had to say on this and i was solid on the idea that all energy is diffrent, but then you pulled out your phisics on me and convinced me its all the same just used diffrent.....

in my opinion, i belive the way i was taught was right.
there is only one energy, ex, magick.

magick is only one energy, but can be used to good, bad, destroy, heal, ect...
while it can be used for diffrent things, it doesnt nessecarily mean that there are diffrnet types of magick, its just the way someone would initialy use the energy....

EX: guns are not bad, they can be used to save lives or end lives.
