What did you think of this summer's movies? Did you think that they were worth it or did they make you want to go on a rental spree to make the people at Blockbuster happy?
There was only a few of them that I liked or wanted to see this year. Most of them were remakes, sequels, or lame slasher flicks. burning_eyes

I don't usually go to the movies very often, but it seemed like this summer I was always there. Having a summer boyfriend had it's perks, I suppose. I saw Die Hard 4, Rush Hour 3, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and Knocked Up. Here is my tabloid-worthy opinion of them. rofl
Die Hard 4: I loved it. In fact, I saw it twice in theaters. I've never been a huge fan of the Die Hard movies; only the first one because Alan Rickman is in it, and face it, I love Alan Rickman. However, after being forced to the theater by my brother to see it, I found I really quite enjoyed it. There's nothing like beating the hell out of someone then making an extremely witty comment. Go, Bruce! The movie also made me realize how dependent we are today on technology. Get some master hackers in here, and we are *censored*. XD
Rush Hour 3: Probably one of the funnier movies I've ever seen. There's something about a nun saying "He just called you the "n-word". He said it again, but this time he mentioned your grandmother." that just makes me giggle.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix: Despite the inconsistencies, I liked it. Of course, I nearly got in trouble in the theater for yelling "NO s**t" when Fudge realized Voldemort was still alive. rofl
Knocked Up: One of the funniest movies I've ever seen, yet horribly gruesome at times. There is no greater abstinence program than watching a babies head poppin' out.

I saw most of the Big summer movies. Fantastic Four had to be the worst. But Transformers and Harry Potter were great. Stardust was fun though Robert Dinero acting like a dandy scared me.
