Teachers are pretty much the gym leaders of this shop. Every student must pass a certain amount of classes before they can move onto their next stage of growth, level up, and take on battles in the battle dome. Teachers will be the instructors within the academy. Please read over everything before you sign up to be a teacher!
Requirements:
- Teachers will be required to remain active within the thread, be familiar with the rules and guidelines, and post at least once a week in their classes.
- Teachers will need to create a mule account for themselves so they may receive PM’s from the staff and guardians of the students. It makes it easy for us, easy for you, and doesn’t litter your inbox.
- Teachers will be required to start up a class signup thread within the academy and maintain it. This is where you will post when your classes open, what students have made it into the class, and links to each of the classes you are or have taught.
- Teachers must be literate and have a decent grasp on grammar.
Perks:
- Volunteer teachers will get 50% off every custom from the shop.
- Active teachers will be allowed to void out the multiple child rule. This means if you are active, you may have more than one child even if your first one isn’t yet a tween. However, the second child will be the teacher’s child, not the child of your oc guardian.
- Teachers get access to the staff rooms, help run meta-plots, and can even eventually run meta-plots themselves when proven to be active.
- Teachers can hand out TM’s based on the needs of their students as rewards.
Teaching Positions:

Attack teachers are experts of offensive attacks. These are the attacks that deal physical damage. Attacks like tackle, body slam, double-edge, etc. Classes must remain between 1-6 students at most so the teacher can focus on each individual student’s attacks. Attack teachers also focus on attacks that increase damage. (Sword’s-dance, bulk-up, etc.)

- Defense Teacher: ! NEEDED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE !
Defense teachers are experts of defensive attacks. These attacks help reduce damage dealt to the child or deal status-effects to the opponents. Classes must remain between 1-6 students at most so the teacher can focus on each individual student’s attacks. Defense teachers also focus on attacks that increase defense for the user and decrease attacks of the opponent.

Battle-type teachers are experts of non-physical attacks. Attacks like flamethrower, psychic, etc. These are elemental attacks and are similar to teaching magic. They teach type match-ups, advantages, disadvantages, etc. They also teach field effects like sunny day, rain dance, etc. Classes must remain between 1-6 students at most so the teacher can focus on each individual student’s attacks.

- Early Development/Childcare Teachers:
Pretty much, you’re baby sitting. This is for the toddler stage only. You’ll be focusing on things like getting along with other students, arts and crafts, naps, etc. It’s not necessary so we’re not urgently hiring for this position.

This is…any other topic. Offered from Child stage on. It can be anything you want from art, history, yoga, etc. Just explain what kind of class this is. Again, we’re not in horrible need for elective teachers.
