To all Mechies,
I know many users on gaia know about this but I want to make sure that everyone knows.
Please be careful of links that people provide on gaia.
Please check the link before clicking.
You can do this by hovering your cursor over the link and looking at the bottom of the window.
I have recently had several pm's of users asking me to vote for them in arena.
When I check the link it goes to a ripway or a fake login in page.
DO NOT PUT YOUR DETAILS IN IF YOU CLICK A LINK AND YOU HAVE BEEN 'LOGGED OUT'
I have also seen a lot of posts with the same links and several people falling for it.
So please be careful mechies.

Another way of seeing the link is by right clicking your mouse over the link and then clicking properties. The first couple of lines will have something to do with Gaia redirect.
Here's an example:
http://www.gaiaonline.com/gaia/redirect.php?r=http://myspacetv.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=8453243
This example came from a link I posted a couple of days ago. But the red is the where the link will take you.

to my knowledge that link has a keylogger something, cookie grabbers
the best thing to do is run an anti-virus or spyware (AVG anti-virus)
delete your cookies from your browser
be careful mechies
Dont click on any suspicious looking links
from signatures to profiles
