Helping Others If you would like me to give you C&C in return I wouldn't mind if you ask me nicely. I just don't think I'm cut out to be a mentor so I'm not making a mentor thread.

I think your linework is nice. I would suggest starting to think more in 3d as you draw (using 3d shapes for the basics that make up the figures) to give them more volume.

Oh ok, I try to do that now. I'm just not so super good at it. I'm also trying to teach my self to draw without the human figure planted in my face, lol.

Hey, the people who have been drawing professionally for years still use reference. Until you learn to map the actual human body and know the bones and muscle groups and functions, you'll pretty much always be better off using reference. Even then. Still, find the building blocks and work with those to make your shapes. You'll find it a lot easier. See how simple the body is drawing there, but you know exactly what's going on? See if you can get your idea across before you detail. Then you know the body is looking alright.

I don't really have anything negative to say about your work, it's so beautiful. I like the grace and fluidness of your lines... You don't have any finished works up so I can't really say anything about anything... a few things that I'd have pointed out you already caught.
I hope to see some finished stuff soon because I really like your style. ^_^
