"Mmm! MMM!"

Sighing heavily, the brunette stepped back a few paces, stopping beside the girl and glaring at her sharply. "What the hell is your problem? Shut up." Of course, she knew well what the Sin'aeis's problem was. Being tied to a chair and having tape placed over your mouth would either scare someone to death or piss them off.

For Kilah, it was obviously the latter.

She wasn't alone, either. Both twins, Noyama and Noharu, were on the floor, back-to-back, their hands tied together. Taking this place over had been all to easy, but it was unfortunate the certain redhead she'd HEARD lived here wasn't present...yet.

Speaking of, Mat was late, the b***h. She might finally kill him for taking his sorry time, dumb male. Tapping her foot impatiently, she leaned on the doorway and stared outside, arms crossed. "Ugh, what the hell? I told him to be on time. Maybe something ate him."

He was late. Oh god, he was so late. The soles of his boots thumped on the pathway, his satchel swinging at his side. He hadn't meant to be late. He'd actually started off nicely on time, thankyouverymuch, but, well...-- there had been a very nice flock of birds roosting in some trees and he stopped to make a few sketches and it had gotten a bit carried away from there. He now had all the information a person could ever want on the indigenous species of blackbird.

He could see the house from here and, if he wasn't mistaken, that was Amayon standing in the doorway. She didn't look pleased. He made a high pitched noise in the back of his throat and increased his pace, tugging unconsciously at the ring of the collar around his neck. This wasn't going to be pretty.

He got all the way to the house door, carefully giving the feline a rather wide berth despite this. "Er, hullo?" he offered in a small voice, peering about the premisis subconsciously.

"Bad dog!" As she snapped at him, she stepped forward quickly, grabbed a hold of his shirt and pulled him forward. Hissing, she stomped quite harshly on his foot before literally tossing him in the house and slamming the wooden door shut behind her. Dumbass. "I can't count on you for anything!"

Marching over to the two twins, she carefully clawed through the rope holding both their hands together. Mind you, their hands were still tied behind there back--just not forced together. Grabbing Noharu's hands with her right and Noyama's with her left, she forced the two of them up and glared toward Mat. "I shouldn't give this to you after you were LATE."

Somehow she managed to make the word "late" sound like a death threat. "You've been pretty good lately, though. I got you these whores, pick whichever you want--I'm going to rip the other apart."

Mat cringed. He really, really needed to think about investing in steel toed boots. She'd probably take them away from him the first time she went to sotmp on him and found his toes under some semblance of protection. Hastily, Mat dismissed the idea. A little toe-crunching never hurt anyone...too badly anyway.

Stumbling indoors, he pinwheeled his arm and managed to catch himself from falling by catching the wall with one of his searching hands. Blinking, he straightened -- and went absolutely blank in the face as he watched Amayon adjust the bonds of her captives. He opened his mouth, made no noise, and closed it again.

"Amayon," he began in a strangled tone, looking from one roped up female to the other. All things considered, he wouldn't really want either of them as...er...One looked about ready to kill something anyway. "...what are you doing? Do you even know these people? You should really untie them, you know..."

"Is it the girl you want, pedifile?" Amayon accussed jokingly, nodding her head toward the bounded Akilah only a few inches away. Laughing loudly, she harshly tossed both the twins back to the ground, winking at them slyly. "Consider yourself lucky, ladies, he'd just fail you as a man anyway."

Moving to the wall, she vanished into the shadows against it only to emerge from one closer to Mat a few seconds later. Wrapping her arms around his neck, she nuzzled the side of her face against his and purred, tail flicking from side to side. "Stupid Mat, I told you before. Sources told me Noyama lives here now. You know we have to find her, right? I hope you didn't forget, or I might have to hurt you."

Then she pushed him forward carelessly, walking past each of the hostages with little interest. "This doesn't seem like her crowd, though, does it? And so far away from Bastok. What the hell is this place called again?"

Mat opened his mouth, clearly ready to argue (probably for both his preferences and against his supposed 'short comings') before he hesitated and thought better of it. That much was probably his single good descision for the afternoon. He occassionally made decent ones. "I didn't forget..." He grumbled akwardly, almost painfully aware of how that stupid collar's ring dug against the skin of Amayon's arm. At least he didn't have much time to think about it.

Stumbling as he was pushed away, the brunette managed to catch his balance back fairly quickly (he was getting good at it by now). Sighing, he cast the captive personages -- he could only assume they were the occupants of the house -- an apologetic glance or two before he directed his attention back to Amayon. "Er, it's Gaia," he supplied quickly.

Even Kilah, who couldn't see any of what was happening, could tell who was in charge here. That guy--'Mat' apparently--sounded really...twitchy. Despite the situation, with Amayon's "fail you as a man" thing, the Sin'aeis released a muffled giggle, mostly drowned out due to the tape on her mouth.

"Gaia..." That sounded weird. "Gaia," she repeated a few more times, sighing again and rubbing the back of her head. "Is that right?" Her ears twitched a bit as she eyed Kilah closed, actually seeming interested this time. "Go take the tape off her mouth, doggy, and be careful about it. This one kicks and bites..."

Looked like one of those purple-haired girls would too if given the chance. The green-eyed one just looked worried.

Mat winced, nodding slightly as he flitted across the room to where the girl was. Minding his fingers -- he needed them all, thank you -- he carefully picked at the edge of the tape. "This may sting," he muttered upon getting a decent finger hold on the edge of the tape. With a sharp movement, he pulled the tape away in one swift jerk. In his personal experiences (not that he had many!) it was a great deal less painful to just pull tape like that off in one pull rather than picking and peeling at it for an endless amount of time.

Carefully, he stepped away from the girl, folding the piece of tape in on itself and putting it away into his satchel without thought.

The second the tape was off,"I'll be sure to repeat that to you when I'm stabbing your eyes out, you stupid b***h."

The outburst attracted more attention from Amayon. So much, infact, that she even went to stand infront of her ,reaching out and patting her on the head. "My, my. You're QUITE a little monster, aren't you?" Aww, how cute. Come to think of it, she'd had to take daggers away from this one too. "Tell me, little girl, Noyama lives here, right?"

When she got no answer aside from a glare, she hissed a little and slapped said 'little girl' across the face. "Forget it...little b***h," she added as an after thought. Returning to the door way, she took a final glance outside, dissapointed to find nothing. "Mat, I like that." She pointed toward Kilah to indicate what "that" was, since he couldn't read her mind.

Wait...why COULDN'T he read her mind? Useless dog. "I want that. We should take it with us." Kilah had gotten on her bad side, obviously, only when someone was on the less green side of the river did they become "that" and "it"

Mat stared at Kilah for a long, startled moment before skittering back to Amayon's side; or rather, slightly behind her. It was a bad habit that he should really get about to breaking. Absently, he tugged on the collar ring. "Are you sure you want he--er...it? I mean, we'd have to feed it and it doesn't look like it would particularly enjoy being, er..." he shrugged, finishing lamely. Quickly, he cleared his throat in an effort to get quickly onto another topic so he wouldn't have to finish his previous thought.

"Why don't we just wait on the road for Noyama? We could turn these people loose and...wait in the bushes?" he suggested, smiling in a small, reserved but rather hopeful manner.

"You're a waste of air." Ahh, so appreciative was Amayon. Warily, she glared over her shoulder, particularly at the one of the two twins that needed to lose the attitude in her opinion. "I suppose we can find her elsewhere. She probably heard I was here and ran off."

Yes, that had to be it. Stupid coward. She knew mage were useless, the white ones more than anything. "Let's go, then. Someone'll come by eventually and let this lot go."

Mat grimaced. So much for that. "You don't want to cut them loose first...?" he began warily, casting the hostages a quick glanc before readjusting his attention back to the brunette feline. No, of course not. "Nevermind," he muttered. Fidgeting for a moment, as if contemplating making a dive for it and cutting the captives loose, Mat finally decided on keeping his lifespan it's proper length and slid out beyond Amayon into the afternoon sun.

Steeping out of Amayon's way like a well trained dog, he peered down the patch thoughtfully for a moment. "Where else are you going to look for her?"

"What did I tell you about asking questions?" After that, nothing else was said. The Mithra's face twisted into one of those rare, thoughtful expressions. They were so uncommon it almost seemed to hurt her to make such a face. This was giving her a headache. Where would she be, and why would it be near HERE?

Gaia? What the hell kind of place was Gaia? "I don't think she lives there." Yes, she had an information source to kill. That little girl had been interesting, though, as well as the one with blue eyes.

"Just let me worry about that..."
