White paws wandered aimlessly around the area around Priderock. White tail with two green ring markings flicked rather nervously behind her. Violet eyes scanned the area around her looking for the lioness that was the queen.
Malika'Eusi was extremely nervous and had no idea what to say or to do, or who the queen was exactly. She knew from what Sekizen had told her that the queen was golden, almost completely golden in color. Other than that she wasn't very sure.
The white lioness could only hope that she would know the queen when she saw her. Biting down on her bottom lip she wished that her friend could have joined her, but alas his family kept him from her.

"Safuma. Semine. Akida..?" -Her voice called across the grasslands, trying hard to make it something that wouldn't just fade away in the wind. Her eyes sought through the grasses, but as of yet nothing. Her children were so young anyway.. She wouldn't be able to see them if they were purposely hiding about the grasses around her.
Stepping along through the thick grasses she didn't give up on her quest to wrangle up the last handful of her children from their day of wandering the lands.-

Malika's ears twitched at the sound of another's voice. It wasn't extremely loud, but it was loud enough. Turning around, she scanned the area around her looking for the source of the voice.
It took a while, since Malika wasn't extremely focused, her nerves seemed to be getting the better of her, to find Kami in the midst of the grass. Slowly she approached the other looking her over, noting how she was a golden color....Could she be the queen?
Malika sure hoped so and definitely hoped that she was friendly. "Hello?" She called out with a bit of uncertainty.

-Her ears swiveled to catch the sound that replied to her, obviously older then her young ones. And she turned to catch sight of the ivory and green lioness.-
"Hello." -And almost immediately she added, a bit of a sheepish looking touching her tired face.- "You haven't seen any young cubs running about have you?"
"I swear, everytime I look one of them is missing. But then, what do you expect with nine cubs." -She prattled on softly, probably the most social she'd been to a stranger in a long while.-

Malika thought about the other's question slightly tilting her head as she did so. "I am sorry but I haven't." She replied shaking her head as she spoke. "Nine?" She echoed rather surprised with the large number, she had thought that her bearing six had been a large number but nine? It must have been quite the strain.
Swallowing she spoke once more, "I could help you look for them if you'd like." She felt that it couldn't hurt, besides she needed to get to know more of the inhabitants in the lands. "Are you by chance the queen?" She inquired rather sheepishly.

"Yes nine." -She laughed softly, musing a little on the thought.- "I would say that I was unlucky, but then I wouldn't trade any of them for the world. So perhaps I am lucky after all."
-At the offer, she shook her head softly.- "Ohhh, I wouldn't want to impose.." -However as quickly as it ended she recognized the question and paused.- "Ohh, were you looking for me then? How funny, looking for me while I'm out looking myself."
"Very well then, we can walk and talk."
-Pleased to have the company, and a distraction from the sometimes daunting task of accepting people, or rather simply being social, she introduced herself softly, taking a brief moment in her sweeping search of the savvannah to greet the lioness more politely, and take in her apperance.- "I am Kamilika, queen of the pridelands. And you?"

Malika smiled at the other female's worlds. She seemed to really love her children. "I think you're very lucky." She stated with a nod. She really did believe that because if you wouldn't trade any of them for the world that meant that you really loved them and that they were well worth any pain or trouble. And having that made you very lucky indeed. At least in the ivory lioness's eyes.
The female chuckled nervously at what she though was a joke presented by the golden female before falling silent. She had found who she was looking for that was true but it didn't make her nerves go away, in some ways it made them worse. "I am Malika'eusi, currently a rogue...but...but I was hoping to c-change that." Malika responded stuttering slightly a habit that never seemed to go completely away like she wanted it to. It was however more controlled then when she had been younger. She bowed her head politely before speaking again. "It's nice to meet you Queen Kamilika." She told her unsure if using the title of queen was the best idea but she'd rather be safe than sorry.
She would just have to wait until Kami said something herself.

-She smiled softly at the sentiment, offering mildly.- "Are you hoping to have a family yourself one day? I was never sure about a family, but I'd always dreamed of a being a nanny." -She confided as her eyes once again danced across the grasses looking for a hint of copper or creme.
She wasn't surprised in the least at the statement that arose next, as she'd figured it'd been the case, she replied simply.- "Our numbers grow larger and larger with each season, but there is always room for more. Everyone deserves a safe and happy place to call home."
"Do you know much about the pridelands?" -Sometimes rogues lived at the edge for months at a time, others stumbled across the place almost as if by accident, so it seemed a decent enough question.-

"I am. Well I sorta have a family but...I was never really around and they're...well mad at me." Malika admitted ears flattening against her skull. "I do hope to have a real family, one that I don't leave for any reason though...I really just want to be around children honestly." The white female told the other a smile crossing her lips with her words. "Something about them always made happy, even when they were not my own. " She was aware of the fact that she was now rambling but found that she was unable to stop herself from going so.
"Really?" Excitement lit up on the pale female's face. She would finally be able to have a home, a real home. One she wasn't going to leave for any reason, not permanently at least. "Well, I've been shown around a bit and told stories by a male that resides her. Sekizen is his name. So I know quite a bit I believe." She stated with a nod. Her heart curled with warmth at the thought of the white lightning marked male.

-She listened softly, nodding sympathetically to the trials the lioness spoke of, having had her own share in her day. That deep dark secret of the children she'd had before in her younger years. She certainly understood the pain behind wanting a family that you could keep and cling onto.
Tail flicking, she nodded once more as Malika spoke of Sekizen, one she knew was from the family of her daughter's own arranged mate. Kami was fairly certain such a character was a good canidate for teaching newcomers the way of the lands.- "Well then, I suppose I don't have to explain many of the rules to you, or show you about. But if you do require any assitance, do let me know."
"I appreciate your help after all." -She smiled a little pleasantly, before her eyes turned away, settling on the rustling grasses in the distance.-

Malika couldn't be more enthusiastic. This day, this whole time she had already spent in the pridelands, had been simply wonderful and now she could stay. Nodding her head with a bright smile upon her lips she replied, "I'll be sure to." Her tail moved back and forth almost in a wagging like fashion. "I'm happy to help." She responded cheerfully to Kami's next string of words.
Stepping back she dipped her head. "Thank you Queen Kamilika." She murmured before turning her attention to the rustling. She'd help find the other's children then head back to her lightening marked male. He'd be thrilled to hear her good news. She couldn't wait.
