I'm chinese... but.... I don't know how to speak mandarin, haha ^^;
I know how to speak cantonese though! It's basically the language of Hong Kong

i just started chinese this year. so far i can say ni hao, and maybe four other phrases. oh, and i can pronounce sounds. stressed still.... its fun anyway. poking andrew throughout class. xd

I'm American but I took Chinese for a year. I'm still pretty bad at it and I feel kinda lame because I feel I should have done better @__@;
I still want to practice it more though. I learned Mandarin and I can read some of the characters but not all. I'd really like to learn how to read the characters though. I loved learning the language and our teacher was so awesome.

im better at chinese when its written out rather than using english letters but im really slow it typing it all up on the computer

its okay if you are chinese but you cant speak it. ^^ cuz.. i have some difficulty learning how to read and write even at this age (im 14) talk2hand
