~<.::.| Story |.::.>~
Many of the first students graduating from 'Montecles' School for the Gifted' wondered what they would do when it was finished. As far as they knew, Montecles' school was the only school that was mutant-friendly, however a new school had caught Montecles' attention and he planned on explaining it to them when it came closer to graduation. Thus, a school assembly was called for, and the students of the school, plus teachers, congregated to the garden in the back of the mansion.
Montecles approached the crowd, his specially built wheelchair whirring quietly as it carried him smoothly across the lawn. He began to speak and retained a very straight posture, showing his wisdom and gentle, yet firm, leadership that no one questioned. He told them of the school, the college, that had just opened in England for graduating mutant teenagers. England
seemed to have a higher population of mutants and harbored several schools like his own.
He folded his hands across his lap, entwining his fingers and looking up at his students, a smile graced his features and he seemed a beloved grandfather, giving life advice to grand-children. He told them that if they had an interest in furthering their control over their powers, then they could attend the school but it was a choice that only they could make. He told them to be happy and look forward to the future with a keen eyes and a strong, brave heart.
He congratulated them on graduating and making it this far despite the trouble they had to face. He told them if they were interested in the school to follow him to his office and he would give them the pamphlet. Returning to his office, he had accumulated a rather large crowd, each very much interested in the school. Monticles gave them some advice and encouraging words then set them off, beginning to write his reply to the school, requesting students from him school.
~<.::.| About the school |.::.>~
The school was established to be a high-tech learning/training facility. A place where the students can come and go if they please, but gives them a place to take out frustrations, fool around with their powers, compete or practice. It was also a place where they may go to classes if they so wish it. A wide array of studies has been established that must be followed, every student needs to take at least three classes per semester. Any other time on their schedule can be used for whatever they want.
Mainly a british school, many North Americans have been invited to come to the school each year. The styles and groups of people are large and vary greatly. Jocks to Goths, nerds to stoners, and so on. The only thing that makes one unique in the school, is one's powers. NO matter the power, any students is allowed to come to the school, but any unauthorized use of destructive powers (including elemental control/use, harmful forces, throwing objects, melting things, etc..) outside the designated arenas and gyms is prohibited and will result in critical punishment.
Anything can happen at this school. Anyone can earn a degree, as long as they pass the year end exams and come up with an understanding of their powers and their limits. Anyone can fall in love, or even fight.
