My silly boy is making fun of my "accent." I really have a midwestern accent. (I am from Brooklyn, this is a ... brooklyn accent!) ... So are accents funny?

Tank13 I like accents. Wish I had one. You do. Just not to yourself. ... unless you always speak with Standard American Dialect, in which case, you would be weird.
I would love to have a British accent. Or maybe an Aussie accent. ^_^

You don't even have to go that far to find an accent. North Jersey kids say South Jersey kids have an accent.

I love playing around with accents. Making fun of them is just tarded though... x_o I mean, it gives people a new aspect to them rather than everyone just talking the same.

There isn't just one American accent. People in the southern states will sound different than people from the east coast.

I have a British accent. I'm british too, what a coincidence. I can also speak with an Irish, Scottish, Australian and Russian accent. I remember one time I was watching a video on Youtube of this American comedian and he was making fun of the way British people speak. I really wanted to punch him. He seemed to think that we are all bowler hat and suit wearing, umbrealla carrying, tea drinking snobs! He seemed to think that all British people spoke like the were upper class and had a really posh accent. In case he hadn't noticed, this isn't the 1800's. We're all dirty little bastards that can't read. Also, he was saying that it's the only accent you can't do without making a weird face. What a b*****d.

Yeah, isn't it true that "tea time" is dying out with the new generations? That's what someone told me.
What an idiot. Times change. neutral

As far as I'm aware there never was a tea time.

Tea time is so old fashioned. Unless you call lunch dinner and you can't call your evening meal dinner..... I call my meals breakfast, lunch and supper- the last due to my mothers south-african childhood...
