To cut down on front page clutter, I am instituting a new announcement thread for me and the rest of the Mods to post in about announcements regarding the guilds. It will be locked so that only Crew members can post in here, and we can keep track of the announcements.

Sunday September 9th, 2007 - New Rule Regarding Reals

As noted on the main page of the guild, using real wrestlers is now disallowed. If you have a real's profile then either delete it and post a new one, or edit it so that you have a created's profile. I don't mean change the real's name so it looks like a created. I don't want full blown ripping off every aspect of a real either. That's all for now.

The only real that's a champion is already changing. The only other real I know of is Undertaker.

New GM of Crossroads!

Seeing as how Crossroads needs a leader during the war with A-Rush, I'm naming Lord Jarel the new GM of Crossroads, provided he accepts. He can either create a new character or use one of his currents! That's all for now.

Code of Honor-

GCW is now instituting a Code of Honor, which shall be in order during every match, except for a new match type, the Fight Without Honor, where the Code of Honor, and all of the rules are tossed out the window. Now, there are five parts to the Code of Honor.

1. All wrestlers involved in the match shall shake hands before AND after the match, except for in instances where one or more of the competitors is unable to shake his or her opponent(s)' hand(s).
2. No weapons shall be used against your opponent during the match.
3. Hitting the referee is not allowed, and will be followed with an immediate disqualification from the match, as well as (pending GM's approval), a fine and/or suspension.
4. Arguing with the referee is severely frowned upon.
5. Getting yourself counted out or disqualified will result in a one week (cycle) suspension, and if you are defending a title, then the title SHALL change hands.

That is the Code of Honor, and all wrestlers shall be expected to follow all parts of it, except for in extreme cases (Fight Without Honor matches).

Fight Without Honor matches shall only take place when the Owner or General Manager decides that two competitors' hatred for each other cannot be stifled by simply competing in a single in ring match. Fight Without Honor matches can ONLY be issued by the General Manager or the Owner. Now, that's all I have for right now. Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, whatever, Happy Holidays!

That's a good question. Didn't they use to do that in TNA? Titles can change hands because of DQs, even if it was outside interference?

If DQ is from outside interference, then no, titles will not change hands unless it's by a special stipulation, like if it has been happening over and over again, like in a feud.

Hey, I was wondering if you thought about what we'll do for the next PPV? You think we should start discussing this in the crew forum? The forum has pretty much been empty with lots of spiderwebs around, I think it needs some dusting up with private guild discussions.

Saturday March 7th, 2009 -

-Regarding the Vixen's, Light Heavyweight, and Tag Team Titles. Also, Code of Honor.

Due to the lack of female competitors, (there are... Not many...), the decision has been made to suspend the GCW Vixen's Title... It was a pretty tough choice to make.

We don't want to leave those females with nothing to do though, so the decision has ALSO been made to make both the GCW Light Heavyweight Title, and the GCW Tag Team Titles ALL intergender! So, have at them ladies and gentlemen.

Also, about the Code of Honor... I want to see the code implimented more into the matches... I've seemed to forget about it too, but I think it is a unique idea, and it will work. Although, with this request, the fifth part of the CoH will be edited so that there is no suspension, but the loss of title is still intact.

That's it for now!
