 The scorching sun stood high in the cloudless azure skies, and the air stood still. Lazily, Kimya was lying down on the warm, red, dirt, and gazed up at the bare branches of the tree above her. It was incredibly hot and yucky, and she didn't have the urge to do anything but sleep. It was like her to do nothing.
Eventually, the temperature got even warmer, and the young pup had no choice but to get up and try to find something to calm her down. She slowly got onto her feet, and started off, hoping to bump into a pond or something. As she walked, she kicked clouds of dirt into the air and squinted her sapphire blue eyes from the bright rays of sunlight.

 Through the grasses, a tall cheetah strolled. He heat of the day was of no concern to him, having always enjoyed the hotter days, even though it made it more of a nuisance to hunt for his dinner. Still, he put up with it, all for the sake of enjoying the heat soaking through his pale fur. He found it to be incredibly relaxing, loosening up his muscles and giving him the urge to stretch them all out. And if it got too hot even for him to handle, he could always take a dip in a watering hole.
Shaking out the green fur that topped his head and ran down his neck, he glanced around, licking his maw clean of the last traces of the small meal he'd just had. A lame baby gazelle, hardly a chase. He hadn't even needed to take ten strides before he had it. He caught sight of little Kimya - how could he not? Her colour stood out quite a bit - and changed the angle of his direction so that his lazy loping walk would bring him closer to her.
"Hello, there!" he called, making sure she knew of his approach before he was suddenly right in front of her. The last thing he wanted to do was scare the little pup.

Kimya yawned as she strolled across the dry lands. Her ears twitched, hearing something from a distance. She twisted her head to the side and noticed a slim cheetah greeting her. Or was he greeting her? She looked around, discovering that there couldn't be anyone else he was referring to. She let out a sigh. She didn't socialize much, and any conversations she had with others often led to embarressment. Like once, she stammered over the word, 'unfortunate' for at least two minutes at a small talk she had with a pup she met near a lake.
"Oh, hey!" she called. Her dry and raspy voice reminded her to go find some source of water after the little chit-chat. She skittered over closer to the cheetah.

Receiving a greeting in return, Akia smiled welcomingly. Little made him happier than meeting well-mannered individuals in his wanderings, no matter how old they were, or of what species. Unlike the pup, Akia was a highly sociable cheetah, and he would happily spend the day listening to this little girl embarrass herself. After all, nothing so silly would ever lower his opinion of her. In fact, it was likely he'd never truly had a bad thought about anyone. It simple wasn't in the male's nature, a nature passed on to him by his gentle, loving mother.
As the pup moved closer, though, he eyed her with a bit of concern in his vibrant eyes. "Oh, my dear, you sound quite parched. Have you not been able to find water at all?" He knew of a little watering hole not far from here, and he would be more than happy to escort the little pup to it, if she was in need of something to drink. [Omg. I'm so sorry. x__x I completely forgot we had this RP going! xD It's been a while since Akia's had an open RP, so I completely forgot I needed to reply to one of his.. >.>]
