The pup trotted confidently over the ground. Her huge family, for once, had gotten boring. Well, it usually was boring. See, everyone wanted different things! So you could never do anything! But at least someone had. Chafuka.
He'd ran away, but Ziwa wasn't sure what her parents thought. She knew that she didn't mind that much, she had 13 other siblings anyways. But now.. Really, she felt like finding him.
She remembered when he firstran away, not really that long ago, the direction she'd last scented him. She'd been on her way for maybe.. a whole two days, or something. A cheetah had been nice enough to give her a bit of food yesterday, and today she'd found a carcass she'd nipped some food off of before being chased away by vultures.
But Ziwa was sure she'd find Chafu, yesshewas. She quietly mused over what her parents were thinking, but.. Well.. what else could she do?

Chafuka was currently laying on his back on a large boulder, staring up at the sky and idly clinking the beads of his necklace between his two four paws. Today was a particularly boring day for the young wild dog, as he had yet to find anyone to show his brilliance to, and it was already passed noon. And he was gettign hungry, which meant he would have to stoop to scavenging. He certainly wasn't big enough to hunt yet; a few failed excursions had taught him that the hard way.
He sighed in complete and utter boredom, letting his almost translucent eyes close. Why was there nothing of interest to do? Where was everyone? He'd found no one all morning, and the afternoon was slowly dwindling away as well. He couldn't survive like this, with no one to appreciate his specialness. What was he supposed to do with the day? Frowning, he pondered that very predicament.

Oooh. Was that a cloud? It could be a coud. It was there, white ontop of the boulder. Cool. It was a ffunny cloud; it had a stripe! And spots! And.. Wait. Didn't Chafuka have spots?This was her brother! She grinned, and opened her maw to call out, then decided against it. He was there, so relaxed and bored on his rock..
It was unresistable.
She grouched low, and started to make her way towards him, sneakly, quietly. She was getting nearer, and his eyes seemed closed. Better for her. Ziwa pressed her side against the boulder when she was close, and moved as quietly as she could around it, to find the way he'd gotten up. It didn't take long, and she slinked up, stepping carefully so her paws wouldn't tack against the stone.
She moved closer. And closer! And then...
"HICHAFUKA!! "

Chafuka had been quite relaxed on his boulder, even if he felt so bored it was almost painful. But the point was, he had been so relaxed and Ziwa had been so quiet that he hadn't even guessed that his annoying sister was there. So, when she'd yelled at such an ungodly volume, it had, quite frankly, frightened the crap out of him.
With a yell of surprise and alarm, Chafuka jumped so much that he fell off the boulder with a loud THUD as he hit the ground below. Springing to his feet, he stared up at who had dared pull such a prank on someone as marvellous as he, and felt a sharp stab of irritation as he recognised the perpetrator.
"ZIWA!" he yelled, glaring up at her, his heart still thundering in his ears. "What the hell do you think you're doing?! Don't sneak up on people like that!"
