Upendo'Mpaji had managed to convince Ure that he should talk to all his daughters in one way or another. He'd needed the young Firekin's permisson first, but that hadn't been hard to get. That son was perhaps the most mild Firekin he'd ever known, and he wasn't sure what to think of the boy. Certainly it was a good place for the young girl to go. Better than when Kienge. He would have made her existance miserable.

At least Tanana was strong. The girl that hated him, and showed it. However, she was also smart. If Tanana thought what she did went unoticed, she was dead wrong. Mpaji made sure that nothing escaped his eyesight. In some ways he was more observant than even the most dangerous Firekin, but he had no reason to use the information he gathered.

For a slave, Mpaji lived the life of their king.

"He insists," Ure said softly from a good distance, and raising his head he could just see the form of Ure and a very golden spotted sister up a far away sanddune.

Fatia wasn't sure just what was going on at the moment, but the unwavering faith that she put in her sibilings was quite evident this morning. She really wanted to ask what was going on, but knew better then to be pushy about it. She would find out, right?

She stumbled through the sand, still not qutie used to walking on it. Well, at least through the softer parts, anyways, like on top of a sand dune. Her head and heart sunk for a moment, fear tensing up her legs. "Ure..." she whispered, her nerves very apparent.

Ure glared lightly at Upendo'Mpaji from a distance. It was a look that meant something that wasn't hatred, but scorn. A furrow that Uzulu seemed to wear upon his brow at all hours of the day - when the cubs were around to see it. The fact was, the yellow lion should not have dragged Fatia all the way out there. It would have been smarter, kinder, far more sensible to have come to her, and Ure didn't particularily care for his reasoning behind 'here.'

"Its alright Fatia, we'll be fine," Ure cooed, taking her eyes off the perpetrator to steady her sister for a moment. She wrapped her jaw around the others scruff, holding tight to make sure the other wouldn't fall. With both eyes strained to see where she was going they kept up that way, finally reaching the feet of that huge statute of a creature.

"Fatia," the father whispered lightly, a smile quirked on he side of his lips. It was as if she was happy to see her. Yet, how could he? The cubs knew he didn't feel their father, no matter how he treated them. Why try? "Are you alright?" He pestered further. She looked worried.

Fatia always looked that way, didn't he know?

Fatia's little paws wandered even closer to her sister, close enough that she would bump into her once she moved. She was scared, and the touch of her sister was just enough to keep her from panicking. She had an idea of what was going on, but that little bit of not knowing really ate at her.

Fatia's wide brown eyes slowly glanced up at the figure in front of her. Her father. What was a father? She didn't know, all she knew was that is just...was. Fathers were just there, nothing more. Even mothers. The only ones that truely loved her were her sibilings. Her eyes slowly transitioned to the sands instead of his own eyes. She didn't want to look at them again, especially when hers felt a bit wet. "I'm scared," she whispered.
