 A two toned wild dog skittered away from her mates and relatives. She peered over her shoulder to see if any of them were following her. She did just want to be alone. For a little at least.
She knew this land. She was here before when she was younger, where she met a little bugger. Chirya, or something.
She sighed just before she saw something move in the grass.
Butterfly!
She grinned and lowered her body to the ground and pounced for it, missing on purpose.
She pawed at the butterfly again, but stopped midswipe, tripping over her own paws. "Oof."
Red eyes blinked, confused.

Tail flicking, Kusanagi paused mid-step, opening his mouth in a wide yawn. He had wandered away from his family for some time, just so he could take a walk alone. It was rather peaceful today. The sun was out, but it wasn't bearing down on the Pridelands with blistering heat, and the cub was thankful for it. His dark fur often became of a problem when the sun decided it wanted to beam it's light down on everyone.
Out of the corner of his eye, the small cub noticed movement of something - a butterfly? He watched it for a moment, before realizing that there was something - or someone - pursuing the small insect. Standing there, he blinked in surprise as...something, he wasn't quite sure what that creature was - pounced for the butterfly, but missed.
"That's not a lion, is it?" He grumbled to himself, frowning at the wilddog with intense thought.
He watched, almost bewildered when the adult wilddog stumbled over her own paws. Adults these days...they were all like cubs. Immature and silly.

"Ouch..." Leini mumbled, watching the butterfly escaped. She pushed herself and shook off any dust that managed to make it's way into her light colored fur. The small framed girled looked around for the small insect again, swiveling her head from left to right.
Blinking her red eyes, she stared at a small cat thing. She couldn't regonize what i was, but she hoped it wasn't one of those leapord things that took her brother away.
The thing was too small anyways. She tilted her head at the cat creature for a second before sdwiveling her head around too look for the butterfly again.
