I like a variety of styles of music, and I'll even include rap, country, and disco. (Oh no! Somebody in 2009 likes that style of music! Call the music police! wink )
My main sources of secular music are video games and ocremix.org, actually. (If someone wants to know the religious side of things, I'll get into that, but for now, no.) I don't tend to collect remixes according to remixer (though I was on a Protricity kick a while back), but by game or game series. I'll usually go for just about anything based on music from a game I have, and branch off into the rest of its series from there. Sometimes I'll take recommendations, and occasionally, that'll get me to branch off in a similar manner.
So here's a bunch of remixes I like a lot; the bold parts are the video game you might find it under. (If not, check the changelog on the forums. It may have been deleted or had its name changed.) The part in quote marks is the remix title.
This is my A-D (by game title). I don't have any Es, though I might if I'd ever downloaded Earthbound remixes. Also, I stopped there for now because I'm only partway through my (re)listen of remixes of tracks from the Final Fantasy series. I'll continue at some future date.
Animal Crossing - "Traveling" by Kaijin Battletoads - "BirdGuyJam" by Zelig Blaster Master - "Dancer" by AmIEvil Castlevania - "Midnight Slayer (Solemn Mix)" by mp; "RigorDance" by Steve Pordon; "Vampire Spanker" (not a fan of the title, but ignore it at will) by Danneman & Silverknekt; "Wicked Orchestra" by Scott Peeples Chrono Trigger - "600 A.D. in Piano" by kLuTz; "A Frog, A Sword, and a Spoony Bard" by Daknit, Bard of Tarot; "A World Awaits Chrono" by J:/Drive; "B.A.M.F. (Radio Edit)" ny Dhsu, Mustin; "Behind the Sealed Door" by Swarmer; "Chrono Moonstone" by... eh, I'm just going to let you find out the remixer name. "Electric Clouds" by po!; "Island of Zeal" by Mazedude; "Enter the Frog" by JigginJonT; "Forever Until Tomorrow" by Star Salzman; "Gale of Ages" by BogusRed; "Green Amnesia" by Disco Dan; "JESUS CHRIST IT'S A DINOSAUR GET IN THE EPOCH" (not fond of this name, either, but oh well) by DrumUltimA (appropriate, as it's ALL DRUM SET STUFF. YMMV.); "Jethro and Vash at the Fair" by djpretzel; "Memories from the Wind Scene" by Christian Pacaud; "The Incredible Singing Robot" by Star Salzman; "The Trial in Concert" by Spekkosaurus; "Town Life in Piano" by kLuTz; "What Hath Thou Done With This" by VicksCornatto; "When All Hope Has Faded" by Unknown, zircon; "Wind Scene Concert Paraphrase" by zohar Crystalis - "House Leaves" by Neostorm Dig Dug - "Six Feet Under" by Injury Donkey Kong Country - "Blue Vision" by bLiNd; "Donkey Strut" by DJ Pretzel; "Lost in Jungle" by Johan Krafft; "Permutation" by injury, Nicole Adams Donkey Kong Land - "Revisiting the Ruins" by Patrick Burns Double Dragon 2 - "Mean Streak on Main Street" by Protricity Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine - "Blobby Blob Disco" by Jivemaster Duck Tales - "Amazon Session" (GASP! Somebody remixed a Duck Tales tune other than The Moon!) by Gux; "Duck Blur" by Star Salzman; "Dolphin Ride" by Monkey Kong; "Moondust" by texx sound; "WalkingOnMoon" by Arcubalis; "Harden the Duck Up!" by norg
