 "Stupid cupid you're a real mean guy...I'd like to clip your wings so you can't fly..." Adora softly sang as she passed by Loka nei forest on her way to the guild. Her face immediatly scrunched up in distaste. "no...thats not right. Love...love...love..." She was such a failure at making up songs. And that last one was her worst attempt yet!

 Having 'escaped' from her parents once more, the dark-hued faery grinned and scrambled hurriedly through the foliage. Her eyes sparkled mischieviously and it never occurred to her that her parents knew about her ventures and even approved of them. For her, it was all about feeling like she was getting away with something she wasn't supposed to. Nienna's friends in the forest could keep an eye on her easily enough and the two adults certainly didn't mind a little time to themselves. How much trouble could one teen get into anyway?
With Eudora, that could be a lot.
The briefest hint of another's voice reached her ears on the wind and she smiled wider. Someone new to talk to! Yay! Altering her course slightly, she headed towards the sound, wings fluttering lightly as she ran. "Hello?" she called out through the trees. Maybe if she got their attention, she could find them faster! "Who's there? Where are you?!?"

She sighed and crossed her arms, emerald eyes moving to the sky. Oh how she loved to sing...oh how she knew no songs so had to come up with her own. Her eyes flashed back down as she kicked a pebble. It was then that she heard...a voice. The teen stopped and blinked to the side at to the forest that seemed to...be talking to her. "Hello?" The red head moved closer to the trees. "Over here?" The female called out, wincing slightly.

Eudora giggled at the response, calling out in reply, "That's helpful! Where is 'over here?'" The sound of the other's voice was quite helpful in itself though and she was quickly honing in on the other female. She figured it was female from the voice, at least, so she'd assume that until informed of otherwise.
From the volume, she figured she must be close and as she peeked her head through a mass of leaves from an overgrown bush, she realized just how right she was. Grinning at the other female Pae'il, she tilted her head to the side, giggling. "Nevermind, I found you."

"I'm...not sure?" She called back slightly, feeling like an idiot. A black head, topped with blue, poked out from the foliage. eek "...thank the gaurdians I was startin to believe I was having a conversation with the plantlife!" She softly laughed, extending a hand. "First pae to go insane via tree's. I'm Adora."

Eudora giggled at the thought. "What's so crazy about that? My mom does it! At least...I think she does. She talks to the forest animals at least, and claims she's a 'friend of the forest,' though I can't say I've ever seen her talk to the trees..." The Fae babbled for a moment on this tangent before realizing she hadn't given her name yet.
Grinning, she took the offered hand and shook it. "That's funny! Your name sounds almost like mine! I'm Eudora!" Looking around suspiciously for a minute, she leaned in to say quietly, "You don't think we might secretly be sisters, do you? Separated at birth and all that?"
Of course, this Pae'il looked unlike any other the Fae had ever met. She'd met other Fae and Angels and all that, but what exactly was this girl? Yet another breed of Pae'il? How many could there be?

"Well, I don't have the power to have the trees talk back. So that would mean that something went kinda...wrong." She grinned at the others babbling, thoroughly loving this as she shook the hand back. Her own dropped at the others name. eek "Wooowwwww...Do you...do you think?" Her emerald eyes widened further. "My daddy's the Fae of Love...but you don't look like him or even mother...You would have to be my half sister...Oh no." Adora suddenly groaned, a hand going to her forehead. "Daddy PROMISED me he wasn't gonna cheat on mother!"

Laughing so much she almost lost control, Eudora nearly tumbled out of the bushes and onto Adora's feet. "I'm pretty sure I was just kidding," she explained through giggles, wiping the start of tears from her eyes.
"I'm pretty sure I've never met your daddy," she continued once she had control of herself again. "At least, my daddy isn't the Pae of Love or anything. He's just pretty! He's got really long, really soft hair! I like to play with it and even if he complains, he always lets me." Eudora was offering far more information than necessary again, but it was as if she couldn't help it. She'd never really had many other Pae'il to talk to besides her 'parents,' with the exception of meeting Shale as a child. She hadn't seen him since and she wondered what could have become of her friend.
Switching subjects rapidly with barely a breath, Eudora grinned at her new friend warmly. "Sooooo...tell me about yourself half-but-not-quite-sister!"

"Oooohhhhh..." She watched as the other rolled on out, pouting slightly. "Well I didn't know! Daddy really COULD cheat on mother and he's not really creative with names...I adore adora and all that. He's got long red hair and golden brownish eyes. And has eight million and two kiss marks on him...though oddly I mainly inherited is hearts." She pointed to the line of hearts on her arms before pointing to the single, solitary kiss mark on her cheekbone. "More about myself? Well...I have a sister, but I haven't seen her in a long time. My twin, though she doesn't look a thing like me with purple hair and daddy's eyes. Ummm...I can make hot chocolate from scratch and...oh, my daddy said for me to announce that I'm single to every pae I meet." She deeply sighed, kicking at the ground. "Well, except children and all, but yeah. 'Parently an ad in the personals thread just isn't enough for him" She rolled her eyes, showing that she was infact, a teenager

Eudora chuckles, quickly absorbing all this new information. Well, up to a certain point.
"Wait, 'single'? What's that mean?" She knew the meaning of the word normally, but not in the context that Adora was using it. Frowning, her brow furrowed deeply, but the effect was cute on her. "I mean, there's only one of you and one of me...so I suppose I'm single too," she concluded, nodded with a smile. Then she paused again, shaking her head. "Wait, no...you said your sister was your twin though. So, wouldn't that make you a double, not a single? Or is that only if you both looked exactly alike?"
Obviously puzzled once more, it was plain to see that while she wasn't dumb, Eudora hadn't had much experience in the world of social matters. Cabel had been reluctant thus far to teach her such things, believing she had a long time before she ever had to worry about those things. Or before he did at least. Unfortunately, his 'little girl' was growing up, whether he liked it or not.

Adora's eyes widened...and this time, it was her that bursted out laughing. "No, no, no! Not like that!" Doubled over slightly, she shook her head. The teen took such things for granted, a social life pushed on her from the fae of love himself. Slowly she straightened, shaking her head again. "Like...like in the dating sense. I'm not anyones girlfriend, so am concidered 'single' even though I've been on dates before. Daddy said I'm only dating someone if we go out more then once with the same guy, so I'm 'single' and he doesn't like that too much."

"Oh...I see." Eudora nodded slowly, however, she wasn't embarrassed by her mistake like most Pae would have been. How would she have known something like this, anyway? It wasn't like Cabel or Nienna had explained this sort of social situation to the teen yet...
"Okay, well, even in that case, I guess I'm still single too!" She grinned at Adora. "My daddy doesn't seem to care about that sort of thing. I mean, he's not pushed me to do anything about it anyway. Why does your daddy not like you being single?" She tilted her head curiously, hands behind her back in the perfect image of child-like innocence.

Wow, two single attractive teenage girls! How weird was THAT? Adora giggled still, a huge grin on her face as well. "Well, my daddy is the fae of love right? So that makes me the fae of loves Daughter. Its expected of me to be a lil heartbreaker, to have all the guys drooling over me...only..." sweatdrop "Obviously enough, thats not working out so hot. He's worried that I might not find the 'joys of love' since teen stage is supposedly the time that you date the most...and I've had one."

Flipping her braid over her shoulder, Eudora giggled at the explanation. "No offense, but that seems kinda' silly. I mean, I don't even think I've had one date and I don't see anything wrong with that. 'Course, I'm not the Fae of Love's daughter or anyway, but I think it's a little silly to be expected to act a certain way just because of who your daddy is." She grinned, honestly meaning no offense by what she said.
"Plus," she continued with her own brand of logic, "I don't think my daddy dated anyone when he was young. He met mommy when he was already an adult. And they're really happy together, so I don't think you have to date and find love while you're still a teen." She smiled, nodding a bit, but neglecting to mention that her 'mommy' was still a teen herself. At least, physically...she sure didn't act like a teen most times...

She shifted slightly, rubbing her arm. "Well, you're a fae right? That means that your daddy must be a fae too. And all faes are made after some sort of myth or belief. Daddy isn't just the Fae of Love, Daddy is the fae embodiment of love. He's love. So I guess pae see it as me then being half the essance of love...or somethin like that." She tried to explain, rubbing the back of her neck slightly in thought. "Though its oddish. Daddy only ever dated one pae, though somehow LOTS of pae liked him. Soooo many pae had crushes on him, even when he was taken!" Even when he didn't use his power. Which was sorta creepy, but that was her Daddy! "So, really silly." The hybrid shrugged, her crimson wings fluttering slightly. "But-thats the way the cookie crumbles I guess!"
