WELCOME!!! This is a thread I started for one purpose, and one alone... THE DISCUSSION OF CHARACTER CREATION!!! HERE, you can post profiles for characters, and recieve feedback on your attributes, details, and history. Making fun and engaging characters can sometimes be a challenge. not that while I (and hopefully no one else) here will tell you what must be changed, but we will give you suggestions on what extra information you should include, from missing powers to a hole in history! feel free to post characters from currently running RPs, as well as characters you haven't officially created yet. both may be in doubt; If you've got a character that you don't want feedback on, but want to display so that we may all bask n the glory of your creative greatness, type 'DISPLAY' next to the character's name. Age: (Still working on that part as well. Teens is what I'm guessing.)
Gender: Male.
Sexuality: Bisexual.
Status: Has a girlfriend.
Appearence: Not to tall, not too small. Not that dark of a hair color. Not that light of a hair color. Just all inbetween on the outside. Aside from his rather plain and worn down clothing as well as a robin egg blue scarf, which was a gift from a dear friend, he usually seems to be wearing the same stuff for days. But the truth is that he rarely wears something for over two days at most, all his shirts and jeans look all the same that's all.
Personality: He's a nice and soft spoken guy when he talks to anyone. Doesn't anger too easily. But everyone has their limits. He doesn't believe in the word hate, believing there really is no such thing. Though he may like this on the outside, he often thinks of himself as a selfish because of how often he does things that will benefit him later on one way or another. But often is scheming and is slightly arrogant inwardly.
History: Born into a poor family with already 3 kids, on the forth of April.The final child in the family. He fits the stereotype of poor kids being not doing very well in academics but he simply says to everyone else that he doesn't try because he personally has no hope for himself but encourages others to try better then him, believing that you can't build a future with nothing. He often is very distant with his family and often tries to find ways to get food himself. After getting caught once for stealing food and he was given a lecture by the owner of how he shouldn't be doing stuff like this and that he has a chance of being something better. He shockingly replied back that he didn't plan on living beyond 20.
He's no one really, because I plan on using him for a story of mine. So he's going to be a someone as soon as I grant him a name.
Plus everything is still a bit sketchy because I had to make him half on top of my head.

How about "John Josef Doe" for a name? its generis and common enough.
the age thing really depends on the RP your doing, I guess; I mean, it isn't feasible for a 13 year old to go on a world saving quest (although it doesn't sound like he'll be doing any of THAT soon) and a 16 year old probably won't be in a middle school setting.
the fact that he has a girlfriend hints that he isn't completely apathetic towards life; how does his bisexuality play into all this?
other than that, I congratulate you on creating an almost perfectly moderate character.

I told you, it's very sketchy to atleast to me. And he's more middle or late teens.
And him being bi adds a bit more insanity because he'll flirt a bit with all the main characters. But he's only doing it because he likes the mayhem he causes. XD
And yes, he isn't completely apathetic.

Weapons and/or abilities: Carries a sword and throwing knives.
This is the second profile I've done, made for a rp in which vamps, demons, angles, and humans are fighting a civil war in a ruined city.
Looking at it now... theres alot of holes... suggestions? help? I could obviously use it. sweatdrop

For another vamp rp... tried to add more to this one... she actually has a story behind her... love to hear what ya think.
Name:Elke (El-Kiah)
Age: appear 21 really 175
Gender: Female

Sexuality: Straight
Bio: Bitten when she was 21 (and thus she continues to appear that age) Elke embraced her new breed with excitement. She had always thought the vamp life would be exciting, and offered herself to a vampire boy (or at least he appeared to be about her age). They were together for about three years until he was slaughtered by a vampire hunter. After losing him, Elke was alone in a world she still knew very little about, but was eager to be a part of. Now much older, she has found her niche in the vampire world as that dangerous flirt, and is not above using her skills on a human to get a feed.
Weapons (if any): Always a fan of firearms, shes an expert shot with both a modern rifle/shotgun and pistol, though she prefers handguns for their easy concealment and speed. Along with guns, she has skills with a knife, but they are nothing close to her sharp-shooting.

Oh if you must know, his name shall be.. Ivory Locke! (Don't mind this. XD Just an inside joke. )
Anyways.. Chaser, you're character is a bit odd. (First one.) She's full of herself yet she won't start fights. Usually people full of them are arragont (please excuse my spelling. My brain died.) and start commotions. Or fights.

Full agreement; I liked the descriptive appearance section, it gave me a definite image.
The first one lacks a history, which is pretty readily apparent from your second post (don't mind the double posting, its cool)
Think: given her personality, what are her motives for fighting? what could they concievable be? work your way backwards from there: sometimes you can get a good backstory to explain a motive just from analyzing that motive itself; why is she fighting, or for whom?
and Shad? she could just be shallow; full of herself, but not one to start a fight.

Thanks. On the topic of Faberge not starting fights, it says shes willing to take on a challenge, meaning she does like fighting, she just doesn't like being the one responsible for starting the dispute... she may antagonize, but doesn't like to make the first move.
