((How's about...the Great Hall, for starters?))
Miriam walked into the Great Hall, literally dragging a sack of books and parchment behind her. Her brows knitted, face set in a frown, she walked over to the nearest table, which happened to be Gryffindor's, and sat down on the edge, plopping her bag down next to her. Grumbling quietly to herself, she wound her curly hair into a knot at the base of her neck, securing it there with some ribbon.

after spending time in the huffelpuff commen room pixie decided she would enter the great hall for the first time since last year. she stood infront of the two doors and took in a deep breath and opened the door. she walked in and looked around. she smiled a little then adjusted her long blonde hair. she walked over to the huffelpuff tabel and sat down. noticing the girl that seemed kinda under the weather she debated if she should ask the girl what was wrong.

Luna walked into the great hall and stopped at the door. She didn't notice that people where staring at her on behaf of the enormous flower pinned to her robes, and is she did notice, she wouldn't have cared anyway. She walk/skipped over to the Ravenclaw table.

pixie's attention shifted when she saw the flower on luna's robe she smiled at least someone other then her was happy. pixie then grabbed some fruit and carefully took small bites out of it.

Miriam's gaze shifted towards the newcomers, looking them over casually, her eyebrow raising upon seeing what she interpreted as a man-eating flower.
"Ravenclaw...and Hufflepuff..." she shrugged her shoulders, and slouched on the table, closing her eyes.

hikaru walked in grinning from ear to ear literally....."stupid cheering charms.... i over did it again...." sits down at table and attempts to fix face while eating poridge...."hmmm....how come there is a slytherin at our table?"

"..." Miriam openly stared at Hikaru, contemplating whether or not to comment on his features. "And people say Slytherins are the ones with the issues..." Looking up towards the front of the hall, she sighed, shook her head, and began rummaging thorugh her bag.

pixie walked into the great hall humming softley to herself. she took a seat at the huffelpuff tabel and pulled out her sketch book "what to do.... what to do" she said as she tapped her pencil on the pad. she looked around for something to catch her attention to draw. *sigh* "why can't i find anything newer?" she said as she continued looking around she had started to lightly tap her pencil on her teeth. then relized she was tapping her pencil on her teeth and stopped her cheeks were turning pink. people always told her she had/has a pretty smile

Elixabeth sat at the back of the Slytherine table, watching as happy chatter erupted from around her as the feast began. Another year has come, filling her with unrestrained sorrow and excitment. She hated being away from her grandmother, especially with her cavorting around the world at 98 years old. It made her anxious. She was excited because she finally was back somewhere familiar, somewhere where she can fall into invisibilty without people asking about her. It was where she was left alone, just the way she liked it.
She Reached forward, picked up a buttered roll, and carefully took a bite; it was delicious, just as it should be. But something was amiss, not right. Elixabeth dismissed it and continued to eat. But the feeling was still there.

Miwako sat happily near the end of the slytherin table. Her eyes followed a few people as they sat in their seats and began to eat the large feast. At the moemnt, she would have to be the only one NOT eating.
"Some people can eat..." She thought to her self as she watched a few people.

While Luna was eating, she attempted to make conversation about the reality of crumple-horned snorkaks, but they weren't really listening. She was done eating, so she left to the common room.
